We went to Shipwreck since the ocean had a double red flag. I was disappointed to pay $140+ and have the park close at 4:30pm. Price too much for a few hours we were there. We did have fun, but we payed for it.

This place beat our expectations big time. We thought it would just be a local water park, no big deal. Instead, we left feeling like we went to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon. Excellent mix of rides for young and old. Kids loved it and grown-ups too....More

This is a relatively small water park, but it is one of the best. The lines are typically quick moving. The prices are fair. There are places to rest, but be ready to do some serious walking. Great lazy river, float activities, and wave pool.

We spent several hours at Shipwreck Waterpark today. It's a small park with only one or two big rides. My teens still had a fun time, but they've enjoyed other, bigger parks better. The employees were all friendly, and actually seemed happy to be there--even...More

Shipwreck Island is awesome! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The park is very clean and a lot of fun. Just wish Miracle Strip Amusement Park was still around.

Definitely Saturday. It's check/out and check/in day at all the beach homes so there are way fewer people there on Saturday. I had always suspected it was the slowest day and I asked the general manager once when I was there... More
