My first time visiting Pier Park and I have to say it was a lot of fun. They have these really cute little trains that drive you around . It's a very quaint area, there's lots of different types of restaurants to choose from there's lots of stores to go shopping in and it's all very close to the beach.... More

I'm a local, so, in my view, there isn't much unique about Pier Park. Yes, it's a nice place to take a stroll and to dinel, but I'm not into paying $10 for an iceberg salad or $10 for a bottle of beer. It's a great place to buy a souvenir if you're a visitor. And you're right across the... More

Lot's of quality stores and friendly faces. We were able to see some of the air show and listen to the jazz festival. All in all, a great place to be at the right time.

Okay, so not really a trap... you are free to come and go as you wish. Lots of unique shops, restaurants, theatre, outdoor activities. You can find something for everyone there as there is plenty to see and do! Great parking, well lit with security on patrol. All shops are appropriately priced for a targeted tourist mall literally across from... More

Almost every place to which I have travelled has shopping areas that cater to the tourist trade. The Emerald Coast seems to have an abundance of them. Pier Park is a concentrated area of stores, restaurants and bars. It also has a number of time-share agents who, while not necessarily aggressive, are working on commission. So, they will bait you... Pier Park is an outdoor shopping mall. It has several stores with restaurants and specialty shops. (One could spend several hours here easily).

This area has just about every kind of shop you could imagine. Also there is a great number of restaurants to eat, drink, and have a few laughs. Beware the Wyndam hotrl priple trying to sucker you into a time share. They are pretty aggressive and oncr you start talking to them they wont stop.

The mall at pier park is fun to walk around but most eateries and stores seem to take advantage of the large amount of tourists and are very over priced. We paid almost 4 bucks for a hot dog. Much better deals can be found elsewhere on the beach.

We walked around for a couple of hours. They have tons of shops and a few restaurants. Everything looks so clean and fresh. Very nice decor and variety of stores.

Busy area with something for everyone. Eat a little dinner? Have an ice cream at the shop on your way to the pier. To walk the pier it was three dollars. You can ask for a stamp that lets you leave and come back at leisure. You can fish off the pier for an extra fee. We sat on a... More
