I was so glad we found this area. It is a good place to ride bikes, fish, walk, and wade in the Gulf. It wasn't at all crowded which made it so much more pleasant. There were several small secluded beaches which were charming. My...More

This small park by the mouth of Manatee River has very interesting and historical trails. It is out of the beaten path. Small parking area.

Great little park with lots of walking trails and a good bit of water access. Great for picnics, launching small boats, or just sitting by the water. Park needs bathrooms instead of port-o-lets

A lovely place to bike, fish, watch the birds or have a picnic. We saw many dolphins , boats and bikers. There is a somewhat bit of a beach but not much.

This is as close to a raw old Florida beach as it gets. Wildlife abounds. Herons. Weekdays it’s so quiet.
