This park is wonderful. Very well maintained and cared for. The vibe here is peaceful and friendly. It's my absolute favorite, full of nicely situated spots to sit and enjoy the scenery and well maintained short trails.

Just had lunch again at John Chestnut. Took the large dog park which is divided for small and large dogs. There are several areas with upgraded playground equipment located near bathroom facilities. The area we were in had two covered shelters and several individual tables under the trees and near the lake. The playground had new soft-surface footing with heavy... More

What a pretty park! There were nice trails, with decks out onto a beautiful lake. They were picnic areas and we saw deer into spots! It was free admission and easy to park and walk around. Very nice find!

This park has it all. Deer wander fearlessly. Tons of restrooms and picnic areas. There is a boat launch, playground, dog park, ball fields, sandy volleyball court, trails, on and on. Busy and big!!!

John chestnut is a great place to walk and hike the problem arises when you find bugs attacking you when you take the trails in the wet land section of the park

Large park with decent wide trails, plus bathroom facilities! Highly recommend the walking trails - plus the park is adjacent to the Pinellas Trail. Being with nature makes you feel good!

Nice area for walking or having a picnic. There is also a dog park, but not sure how that is since I don't have a dog!!

Nice place to walk around and see some local Florida wildlife and nature. Great spot to visit early in the morning before it gets too humid, but very nice scenery.

I truly enjoyed John Chestnut Sr. Park. The park is woodsy with a beautiful walkway that travels over the water. It is very convenient and easy place to have a great walk. It is very peaceful also!
