Recently visited under the Granda bridge - We caught a lot of red snapper, grunts and a sting ray. When you go use small hooks and weights. Also, squid is a waste of time; try using corn nib-lets, biscuit dough and if all fails use...More

We took the tour (actually happened to see it as we were heading out of town from our mini vaca). Disappointed, the tour dragged on, we thought the house would have been preserved/redone as it was back in 1911 when Rockefeller was living there. Learned...More

We left Daytona Beach, had our inline blades & were looking for local trails. This is the closest we could find, so decided to try out a course on the sidewalk along the Halifax River on S Beach St. Actually, the city does an excellent...More

This was neat. The way the fishing pier went under the big bridge was so cool. Nice walk. Nice area, but it also seemed to be a hangout/sleeping area for a few homeless people which I don't love which is the only reason it didn't...More

Nice pier to fish from. It was damaged in the hurricane, and has not been completely refinished, but there is enough room for everyone. There is also a bait shop so it is convenient...

Rain or shine, fishing or just walking, Cassen Park is a super place to go. Well maintained, clean, lots of trash buckets around, rod holes in some of the railings, and a relaxing place to walk on the long docks.

It has a great little marina with a bait shop & snacks, a walking/fishing boardwalk, view of the Halifax & under the Granada bridge. I've been here all different times of the day & it is always beautiful & well kept!

Loved walking on the boardwalk that goes out over the Halifax River. Wonderful views and a lot of fun interacting with the gulls and pelicans

Bring your fishing pole, a cooler, and a blanket. Pop a cold one, cast out the line, then lay back and relax. Whether you want to fish, watch the boat traffic, or just lay back an nap, I found this a very relaxing place to...More

I spent a couple of hours a day here on a recent vacation. It was never crowded, although there was a steady stream of walkers of all ages. The fact that I caught fish each day was a bonus.
