Nice little garage..historic but not worth a stop to park and walk over. If your walking on beach its easy to come up to street level and take a look.

This is a nice little park on the corner of A1A and Hwy. 40. Some interesting facts about the history of racing on Daytona Beach. Nice benches to sit, grab some food and enjoy the wonderful view of the Atlantic, clean restrooms or during bike week watch all the motorcycles go by. Right next to this park is also a... More

Self guided, ten minute walk about gives new appreciation for early car testing and racing. Must have been something in the age before pavement. Sand was perfect for car racing.

Look in the windows of the garage and there are two old cars that actually raced on the beach here. Small park, but nice and clean, easy parking on the beach access ramp. When we were there, we were the only ones in park.

If you can catch this open, it is a wonderful exhibit of the first race ever....right here on Ormond Beach. Replicas of the first two racecars are on site and many pictures and information are available!

This is a tiny little "pocket park", right next to the beach access road at the intersection of A1A and Granada Boulevard. Pretty, well landscaped, offers a great view of the ocean. A nice place to sit and look at the ocean, or to accesss the beach and walk past the unique beachfront homes to one side or past the... More

Older building by the ocean with a plack. They removed the antique car. Not much more to see except a view of the ocean .
