A big surprise in a small area

I spotted this fishing dock by accident since it's hard to see wedged between two large houses on the Halifax River (Intracoastal Waterway). I walked out at the dock at sunset and... read more

Probably would be nice if it was open. The dock needs major repair most likely after some storms late last year. Walked down to check out the fishing dock and it's closed. I see great potential but it was a .5 mile walk for nothing this vacation. Maybe next time.

If you want to kill a few hours and enjoy the peacefulness of the... More

This is a small "park" tucked in between houses. Easy to miss when driving along (look for Roberta Dr.) Short dock and area to launch kayaks. While the park itself is nothing terribly special, it is very nice to have these little spaces dotted along John Anderson so everybody can gain access to the river in order to fish, hang... More
