The drive was very scenic and nice and easy! The views were great while plenty of spots to stop and take pics or enjoy the views! Make sure to stop and see the 2,000 year old Fairchild Oaks at the southern end of Bulow Woods...More

Very nice to visit the area the view is beautiful and definitely a site to see! The road goes under the vines that go over And the well needed to see.

Very relaxing with a feeling of "OLD" Florida. One has to be amazed at the amount of work involved to make a road with the foliage so thick.

Very enjoyable ride through the forest. We actually saw a deer on this ride. Not too much traffic. Stop along a Trail or many places to stop to enjoy the views. Always stop at the Fairchild oak! My husband takes all visitors there. The tree...More

I would like to drive The Loop and have promised my grandkids a picnic at the beach. Is this doable on The Loop and if not what beach do you suggest?

Yes there are several places to stop, and it loops back around to A1A, Bicentennial Park is just South of where you come out and its a great place for a picinic.

The Loop consists of over 30 miles of roads, so I don't think a walking hike would be a good idea. We did see several bicycles groups out on the roads. I'm sure that would be a better choice for that "Up Close & Personal... More
