Always fun but the same as what you will get in Disneyland
This Star Tours is the pretty much the same as the one in Disneyland. However, it doesn't seem like this one has much of a line every time we looked in the app. It always seemed to be between 5-15 mins which is much better than in Disneyland, where the lines can get pretty long. We only went once while in Hollywood Studios because there were other exclusive to WDW rides we preferred to spend our days riding. The ride is a 3D simulator ride that takes you to different Star Wars planets. Every ride is different because you don't know which scenarios/planets you will be experiencing. I guess if you had the time, you could keep going on it to see all the different planets. I believe the planets shown in the new Ahsoka series are going to be added soon which is exciting news! For those who get motion sickness easily, this might not be a ride for you. My son and husband get motion sick with spinning rides and this ride does not make them sick.

    Great fun and different experiences
Our family of two adults, an 8 year old and a 6 year old visited Disney World for two weeks holiday in October. We went on this ride five times and only once did we get the same experience. The best experience was based on the more recent films and it's clear the graphics on screen and the motion ride was more extreme than the older experiences. My son's favourite is when Chewbacca appears. Enjoy!

Fun ride and got better throughout the years
Rise of the Resistance wins for best Star Wars ride but I’ve been going on this one since I was a kid and always enjoyed it. Plus, it only got better as the years went on because they added a bunch of different ride experiences so you can go back multiple times and not have the same ride experience. C3PO is the best part of this ride, he’ll always be my fav! Queue line is exciting too and it’s normally not a very long line! Definitely worth stopping in. We even prefer this one over Millennium Falcon. My fiance who normally gets motion sickness from time to time felt perfectly ok on this ride but was also wearing C Bands, so that coulda helped. Fun ride!

    Fun Star Wars ride
Star Tours is a fun ride, steeped in the experiences of the Star Wars universe. The queue is cool, winding through a boarding terminal for "Star Tours" departures to various places, with some familiar droids. The ride is a little bouncy but not too bad, and has a great theme and story, including many different variations that you might experience.

Fun Simulator Ride that is More Enjoyable than the Millenium Falcon Smuggler's Run
Simulator ride that was recently updated and provides for a fun experience. I feel that it is better than the Millenium Falcon as everyone on the ride has essentially the same experience unlike on MF when having the role of a pilot provides an enhanced experience. No need to use a Lightening Lane Pass if the wait time is under 35 min as the queue experience is interesting enough and will help pass the time.

    Fun
This ride is worth doing. You enter a small room with maybe 50 other riders and sit in rows. You put on a seatbelt and 3D glasses. This is a motion simulator ride, so you don't actually go anywhere, but the seats do tilt in coordination with the movie. You go on an adventure mission with the film characters. It's not a smooth trip, so be ready for it! It's not at the level of the other Star Wars rides here, but it's fun. One drawback is that this ride always makes me mildly nauseous, it's the only motion simulator ride at disney that does that. I like it enough to ride it anyway, but it's something to keep in mind. With the opening of the newer Star Wars rides, the lines for this one are almost always short. It was around 10 minutes for throughout most of the week that I was there. It's also indoors and air conditioned.

We visited Star Tours near the end of the day at our Hollywood Studios visit. It was nearly empty and was a lot of fun. Years back when they changed the scripts to have random new views gave this ride new life. The one script on the ride had become very boring for people who have been there before. Now, you can ride 3 times and have three different experiences!

While not as thrilling as it was when it opened due to the advances in virtual reality and better graphics, etc., this is still a very fun ride.

When I visited for the first time, in 1992, this was my favorite ride. Since then it has been updated with more parallell vehicles and random planets. Every time you ride the three sections, beginning, middle and end, are randomized among a set of different scenes. Going several runs is quite rewarding as you're likely to get new experiences, at least for the first few times.

One big plus is that Star Tours usually has way shorter queues than Rise of the Resistance and Smuggler's run.

Comparing to the more modern rides, like Avatar: flight of passage or Rise of the resistance it's starting to show its age a little though. The immersion isn't on the same level, the screen is a little smaller and so on.

I rode this in the 90s and thought it was just so so. So I warned the boys that this ride would not be so good. The wait time is low, between 5 to 15 minutes. I only saw it peak once to 50 minutes. Well, it was the nicest surprise. We really loved this ride!! Adults and kiddos all agreed this was better than Smugglers Run. Fun ride, exciting, some funny parts. The video is older, not as sharp but it was still good. When we left the ride, my husband asked one of the cast members and he said there were 100 versions of the ride and it just comes at random. We wrote it twice during our stay and we did have two different stories and they were both great. It’s neat to see 3-CPO along with the newer characters.

We visited Disney’s Hollywood studios this weekend March 6th and our first fast pass was for Star Tours. Hadn’t been on this ride in over 10 years. It’s newly updated version is based on the new movies and I loved it. It was fun and exciting. I am prone to motion sickness but I did ok.

As a roller coaster wimp I love any simulated ride as at least I can close my eyes, and know I’m not really going anywhere..

This 3-D simulator ride does not disappoint. It’s unpredictable, there are lots of twists and turns and it has good visuals.

If you are prone to motion sickness this might not be the ride for you, but I loved it! Sadly, my husband chickened out.....

While a reboot of the older Star Wars portion of Hollywood Studios, this still holds up. It is fun and fast-paced. Anyone who gets motion sickness may not love it, because the combination of graphics and hydraulic hexapod motion can cause some discomfort for those who are susceptible. I also think that this ride it kept a little too warm and that does not add to the comfort factor. Nonetheless, still a fun ride.
