    It is tough!
One of our favorites at Animal Kingdom. A wonderful interactive show that not only makes you look like a bug, but feel like one too! With all of the surprises throughout this show, you are sure to be surprised and squirm a little afterward! You will definitely feel how it is indeed tough to be a bug!

    See it before it's replaced
Our family of two adults, an 8 year old and a 6 year old visited Disney World for two weeks holiday in October. What a surprise! Great little show and funny ending. Shame they are planning to replace this. Enjoy!

Check this out before Zootopia replaces it!
I’m gonna miss this when it’s gone for good….what I won’t miss are the giant spider animatronics that descend from the ceiling (I’m big time arachnophobic), but overall this is a fun, cute attraction. Just make sure your kid won’t freak out at the giant bugs, it can get a little freaky for little ones. It is a tad rundown but this movie will never be outdated to me! Check this out before it’s replaced by Zootopia! It’s located right inside the big Tree of Life.

    Cute
This was my first time doing this - I'd been unsure whether I'd be creeped out by it. I wasn't, it was really good. There was no wait to get in (I only had to wait for the previous show to finish). The waiting area is indoors, and there's some funny theming. Then you go into a theater and put on 3D glasses. The show itself is fun and educational at the same time. It was more cute than scary, though some may find it challenging. I recommend stopping in if you have time.

Totally unexpected entertainment. Had no idea what we were in for but it was brilliant, even second time around was just as great! Worth a visit, with or without kids!

Located in the Tree of Life, It's Tough to be a Bug is a funny and entertaining 4D show that should not me missed when visiting Animal Kingdom. The exception would be for those who have a phobia of bugs. In addition to the 3D effects on the screen during the show, all of your senses (except taste) will be stimulated. This includes smell and touch. Such a fun show.

This used to be at Disneyland and it was scary for kids then. It is still scary now. Most people don't remember A Bug's Life much which this is based on. It is a 4D show about how Tough it is to be a bug. Parts of it is funny but then it does get scary towards the end. I wouldn't suggest it for kids under 6 unless they don't get scared by bugs attacking.

It is tough to be a bug is a 10 minute 4D show. The only reason we went to this show was because of the weather and most rides were shut down, however I am glad we did. You get water and smoke in your face and you can feel the bugs crawling around the seat.

Good 3d effects , you get sprayed with water , stabbed in back and seat rumbled. A few kids left because 3d too scary for them.

We enjoyed this. It is a 4D experience. Don't be surprised when you feel the bug "stings" etc. It was really neat to see all of the carved animals in the tree of life exhibit as you head into the show. There was virtually no line for this attraction.
