Tucked away near the end of one of Orlando International Airport's runways is this little park which serves as a memorial to the B-52s that once flew from here when it was an active Air Force base during the Cold War. The memorial itself couldn't...More

You wouldn't think you could find a bit of quiet near the airport, but this secluded area definitely has it. A little bit of history that is in the middle of it, but seemingly miles away. If you don't know this is here, it is...More

Quick stop to grab the Virtual Geocache here. Great B-52 on display. The B-52 is STILL in service with the U.S. Air Force, amazing aircraft. Good park for plane watching, nearby airport. Have a quick picnic.

Nice little park near the airport . There is a very large B 52 aircraft that you see from many different angles. The plane is huge. There is a small amount of parking for the park only. Worth 30 minutes.

Decided to check out the B-52 Memorial park, partly thinking this might be a good place from which to watch airplanes, since it sits off the center north of the Orlando airport a half mile East of runway 18L. Very nice park, well maintained, based...More

This park is tucked into a side street of OIA among satellite parking areas. The park is just the bomber. There are not other places to wander here. The bomber itself is cool, but it is certainly not a place to go out of your...More
