    Typical entry path
Typical shopping eating non ride section of the park. Filled with restaurants, movie theater, fountain, the globe and tons of souvenir carts and shops. Strategically located in an unavoidable path yo the attractions. Open late before and after parks. There is a guest services station here as well.

Surprisingly great food available at City Walk!
Some GREAT restaurants on City Walk! 2 of our favorites are Cowfish (casual, great food/drinks, not just sushi) and Vivo - fine Italian dining..but also good if you're dressed casually/theme park wear...superb pasta, the meatballs melt in your mouth, gravy is like Grand mom's! Wonderful bread too and excellent staff...if you'd like to go in the evening (only open after 5 when were there) make a reservation!

Great place for food and souvenirs
Lots of food options and you can browse the stores too to buy souvenirs or clothes. Do yourself a favor and go to Voodoo Donuts. We loved Margaritaville and Bubba Gump. Hard Rock Cafe had delicious burgers and the Chocolate Emporium had awesome drinks. If you are on a budget, try the upstairs food court for some Chinese food, Burger King or Moe's. it's all open till around 11pm. In front of NBC there are lots of great spots to take pictures, especially at sunset. Make reservations in advance for the busiest restaurants. You take the buses back to the resorts till 1am.(2023) If you need a wheelchair you can rent at Guest Services, after passing security, take to the parks, to City Walk and return at Guest Services till 1am, before getting the bus back to the hotel or taking a Uber/Driving.

    Fun spot, pricey parking
A taste of Universal without paying the high entrance fee to the park. Lots to see and places to eat or watch entertainment. Only catch is parking is $30. Less expensive to do a ride share.

Loads of restaurants and great entertainment.
Lots of different types of cuisine to be had at CityWalk. Walking around is ok during the daytime, but when the parks close it is an absolute nightmare. The crowds are huge, can’t move at times and finding somewhere to eat is almost impossible if you haven’t previously booked. Prices for each restaurant is quite steep as nowhere else to eat. Shuttle boats stop just outside the NBC grill to local hotels. Small stands along the water front for gifts and snacks.
Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. While I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed our food options throughout Universal CityWalk, I'm sorry to hear about your disappointment with our crowd levels and our pricing. Our goal is to always provide our Guests with a comfortable and enjoyable experience, and i apologize if your visit did not reflect that. Please be assured that your feedback will be documented and shared with the proper teams for review. I hope you got the chance to stop by NBC Sports Grill & Brew for their Large Warm Soft Pretzel! We look forward to welcoming you back soon. -Katie

A place with a lot of choices for food. Nice location for a walk but not something special. You can even just have a walk and spend some time by the water. I cannot understand why the parking is so expensive.

Went to Disney Springs yesterday and enjoyed shopping and dining. Decided to try Universal City Walk today. We expected a similar experience. When we arrived we found there to be a $32 parking fee to shop and dine before 6 pm. We turned around and left!.

Your one stop shop for food and souveniers if you're visiting the parks. I almost always grab dinner here to take home with me on the way out. This is also super helpful if you're staying at the hotels-- lots of food options. However, things will be pricy as it's a tourist area, so keep it in mind.

My colleague and I went to Citywalk for dinner on 3/8. We rode a bus from our hotel there, and the bus area was a nightmare. We walked around a little to look at the shops and find a restaurant to eat at. Unfortunately, 6 of the 9 table service restaurants were closed for a huge private event for Callaway golf. This made the remaining 3 restaurants impossible to get a table or bar seats for 2. We walked around for an hour just for nothing. Then decide to just head back to our hotel to eat and find a mess of buses. They need to figure out a better way or make more room for bus drop off and pick up. Between Callaway's 65 charter buses and at least a dozen buses for a MathWorks event, it was hard to even find our bus to our hotel. it was very disappointing.

Very excited; sadly disappointed. Have wanted to go to Universal parks for a decade. After 3 Disney stays in last 14 yrs during which we went to Disney Springs multiple times, I dragged my husband up the I-4 to Universal’s Citywalk during a quick Orlando day before our flight. Wanted to see it all in preparation for a week-long July trip for which I planned to get park tickets.

While it was my mistake, I never checked or noted in my brief research that visitors to Universal Citywalk must pay a $30 parking fee before 6pm no matter how long they plan to visit or where they are going. I kept the faith though about what it would still have to offer. After following all the signs (on a knee scooter because unfortunately of currently recovering for foot surgery) we were shuttled through with all of the park visitors. I still wasn’t disappointed yet. It was when I realized truly what Citywalk had to offer. Nothing but a rather small location of opportunities for bars and restaurants to feed you, as for shops, I only saw 4 other than Universals. Admittedly, I did not bother going to the second floor of shops or restaurants because while the sign offered shops, the Universal app did not show any. Additionally, near the escalators I could not see any clearly marked elevators.

The main attractions are the Cinema (which I was told does offer a parking validation), a mini golf, and said restaurants and a couple shops, all of which for what I can tell, you are spending more money for the privilege of having just paid $30 for parking. And again, I didn’t research well for this quick trip, but the one place I was going to stop to introduce the hubby to a Pat O’Brien’s Hurricane and listed to the piano music, yet, it did not open until 4 pm.

I did not see anything else as far as entertainment and would’ve been content sampling a VooDoo Doughnut and walking around, if not for that $30 up charge to just be on the grounds.

That said, I did do at least enough research to know about the walking paths and butterfly park around the grounds that did not require park entry and that relaxing walking/running path earned 5-stars all its own thus this 2-star overall review. Did not see anything that would bring me back, but still considering at least a day at the parks themselves.

This place is similar to Disney Springs, but half the size, less engaging, and a bit more involved for parking. Parking only becomes free at/after 6:00 pm. We were happy to have visited, but if you only have time for one of these two places, I would suggest Disney Springs.

We decided to go out for dinner just to say we did the citywalk. IF you arrive after 6pm, the parking garage is FREE. However, as the park closes there are tons of people streaming out. And of course they’re all hungry too. We arrive shortly after 5 and paid the $30… we walked right into the restaurant and were seated immediately. As we left the restaurant shortly after 6 EVERY restaurant had a huge waiting list to be seated. So you can save yourself $30 but wait an hour or so to be seated. Not my idea of spending a night.

Promoted as a Christmas walk in December. Nope. Not much different than any other season. After 6 pm free parking and free admission but it was a waste of time for us because we wanted to see Christmas glitz. Nope, none of that.

There are so many amazing places to eat here! Can never go wrong with Hard Rock Cafe, especially one that big. Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville is always a fun time. Toothsome Chocolate Emporium is so insanely cool! The Cowfish is incredibly interesting and delicious. Bob Marley’s Tribute to Freedom is probably my favorite! The list goes on with good eats and shops! Also, make sure to grab some VooDoo donuts, they’re super tasty and the marketing is hilarious. The entertainers are all super talented and very friendly and fun to talk to, and there’s always something to watch/look at. You can easily spend half a day here especially since they opened up those new Back to the Future and Jurassic World escape rooms that look unreal. Parking can get pricey, especially if you’re only going for dinner, only downfall, but I love this place!
