Lots to tell. If you are into fast true greens, you'll love these. The fairways were in need of water, but most in central Florida are. Service was great. Ranger was frequently seen and interacted with golfers. If you are into wildlife, they have very friendly and cute fox squirrells. The course played longer than the yardage indicates for some... Wanted to try someplace different. Booked online because reviews were decent. But we were unpleasantly surprised. Course was in poor condition. The greens were decent, but tee boxes and fairways were terrible. Below what you'd expect from an average public course. Staff was pleasant though and we had lunch there and the food was good, but we went there for... More

We played here before and enjoyed it. We booked a tee time but the Course couldn't find it. However, they fit us in and we had a great day. The fairways are good, trees can come into play ( however normally you still have a shot. Water comes into play on some holes. This is an older course that has... More

Played this course for the 1st time a couple of weeks ago. Straight driving is essential, though, if you are in the trees it generally is not a lost ball. This course is a lot older than the normal Orlando courses but is in good condition - tees were a little bit scruffy in places, but the fairways ans greens... More

The golf course at Rio Pinar is a very nastalgic. The design is very challenging yet pleasant to play. The course is shared by a very unique looking animal; a cross perhaps between a racoon and a squirrel. Regardless, they add to the ambiance of this quaint and old time feel. The golf club offers a very nice lunch; dont... More

I have played this course several times and have found it to be in good shape and very challenging. It has narrow fairways with trees everywhere and demands straight golf shots or plan on bringing a chain saw. Staff friendly. Bring some little munchies for the squirrels, they will come right up to your cart.

We have played it several times since the retrofit. An older course but well maintained. Leisurely pace but is busy. We were greeted by Herman in the Pro Shop- A plus guy. Starters/ cart guys friendly. Prive very reasonable ( take the $ 5 lunch deal- amazing. Never seen fox squirrels before. Greens were slick, fairways good and open. Off... More

Nice tourist-friendly Florida golf course. Mostly wide-open fairways but lots of challenges. Reasonable greens fees. Very friendly staff. Great set of Calloway rental clubs. I loved the history of the place, having hosted the PGA Orlando Open in the 1960s. Will go back next time I am in the area.
