Fantastic way to spend an afternoon. Gorgeous natural habitat and stunning wildlife. So many things to do in Orlando other than the parks, people never recognise Orlando for what it is and that is an amazingly beautiful place that I'm proud to call home.

We went there with a 2 year old, 3 year old and a 6 year old and we enjoyed our hike. We took the 2 mile trail across a bridge (which would normally have water under it, but the drought going on has taken its toll) and went to another water lookout. Which again, i am sure is beautiful when... More

We only did the short route, but it was relaxing. Would go again if we had more time. Remember to bring water as it gets really hot in the unshaded areas. There is a bathroom at the front and lots of parking. There was minimal amount of people there when we showed up. AND best part...its free.

Shaded trail, relaxing... Has picnic tables if you want to bring a light meal to enjoy... Trails are well identified, no chance of getting lost

Away from the crowds and noise of theme parks, this a great place to unwind, the trails are relatively small and fun, carry drinking water as we couldn't find any there

We enjoyed hiking an authentic Florida cypress woods and marsh! We ran into only 3 other small groups! Lovely paths (boardwalk in some areas), clean, well managed. Nature center. Highlight was sighting the ospreys. Butterflies. Birds. Flowers. Palmettos. Easy hiking. free. donation box in nature center if you are so inclined.

This is a great spot for taking beautiful nature photos and for relaxing. Wheelchair users might want to avoid muddy days but we had no problems.

If you’re looking for peace and quiet with no crowds this is your place. A great place to unwind after fighting traffic. We walked the trails which weren't muddy and easy to navigate, six trails are offered entailing about 4 miles; pick up a map in the nature center. A tortoise joined us at one point just following along which... More

Went for hike along longest trail (3 miles). Saw some birds and lots of different ecosystems. A few parts were muddy, but not bad. Decent center building with bathrooms and water fountain. Free!!!

My husband and I walked here for 2 hours this morning. We saw a tortoise come out of its burrow and a river otter just splashing in the water. Trails are well marked and you can do a shorter or longer walk. The longest is 4 miles. Have to watch for roots and ruts in some places so make sure... More
