We came out of Teppan Edo just in time to enjoy this fantastic fireworks show! The kids were tired, but we stuck it out anyway, and they loved it. The music and the fireworks were perfectly timed for a truly memorable show.

Jane, Unfortunately to see the Illuminations you must pay to get into EPCOT, they do not have a separate price for just Illuminations. If your dad is not up to a full day you may want to go in the afternoon, and stay until the Illuminations show starts at 9 pm. Still gives you plenty of time for your admissions cost, but you could rest in the morning. You can also see part of the fireworks the high ones from parts or Boardwalk which is free to visit and walk around. It has shops and restaurants and nightly entertainment. Hope this helps and you have a wonderful time.
