Lake Eola Park is located in the heart of Downtown Orlando. The sidewalk that circles the lake is 0.9 miles in length, making it easy for visitors to keep track of their walking or running distances. Other activities available to park visitors include renting swan-shaped paddle boats, feeding the live swans and other birds inhabiting the park, seeing a concert or a play in the Walt Disney Amphitheater, grabbing a bite to eat at Relax Grill on Lake Eola or relaxing amid beautiful flower beds and a spectacular view of Orlando's skyline.

Parking is free on Eola Drive on the east side of the park and there is metered parking on Central Boulevard and Rosalind Avenue. There is also street parking in Eola Heights and Thornton Park, a two to five block walk to the park.

You can also park in any of the garages within a few blocks of the park. These include the Post Parkside parking garage at Osceola Avenue and East Central Boulevard; the Paramount/Publix parking garage at Lake Avenue and East Central Boulevard; and the Library parking garage at 112 East Central Boulevard.

Please note: swans can get sick eating bread and popcorn. Visitors to the park can feed them lettuce, spinach, duck food pellets or buy food from the new swan feeders.

Lake Eola in downtown Orlando has 7 outdoor sculptures permanently installed for the public. Download the descriptions and locations on SEEARTORLANDO.COM and your are on your way! It takes approximately an hour to walk around the lake and that's at a slow pace reading all the placards. Parking is available around the lake for 2 hours for free, otherwise metered... More

The Farmer's Market on Sunday mornings is the best. Fresh, organically grown produce and prepared foods are exceptional. I especially like the coconut water and freshly made pineapple and popcorn. Don't forget to get a roasted corn from the vendor who cooks them right in front of you.

Visited here for a couple of hours after going to the theme parks and before heading back down to the Miami area. The park was very nice and well maintained. We even went out on the lake in the "Swan Boats" which was tiring, but nice! The only complaint was the abundance of homeless people that have seemed to make... More

Really pretty lake and park located not far from Orlando downtown. There's a nice, wide path that goes around the lake with plenty of art to look at, swan boats to ride, and if you're there on Sunday, you can enjoy farmers market as well.

Beautiful place to stroll and enjoy the outdoors in the city. The swans and other birds are abundant. The park is clean and can be power walked in 17 minutes. They have a farmers market on the weekends.

Nice quick free place to see. A very nice sight in the middle of the downtown area. Good for a walk and within a few blocks of restaurants. They have a band shell so it might be nice to check ahead for concerts.

Nice lake that you can take a leisurely walk or run around and see the wildlife too. The fountain is beautifully lit at night. An amphitheatre is located just off the main avenue near one of the many entrances to the park from the surrounding streets. Multiple spots to sit and enjoy the lake. This is something to enjoy on... Although we did not have the chance to ride the paddle boat swans our kids nevertheless enjoyed the 1-2 hours we spent exploring this location. This man made lake had a lot of bird inhabitants such as real swans, ibis and pigeons. Around the lake are coin operated (quarters only) bird food dispensers, all our kids enjoyed feeding the lake... Nestled in the middle of the real Orlando (NOT the attractions) is a lovely, quiet place of solitude. It's Lake Eola. The history of Lake Eola is clear cut and a bit unusual. Lake Eola is actually a sinkhole that is almost 25 deep feet deep. The land around it was donated to the city in In 1883 by a... More
