I dropped my group at WDW and decided to tour the Basilica. I called ahead and spoke to Susan? in the Rector's office. Very friendly and helpful. Explained to her that I drove charter buses but that I was solo. She told me by all means to come and tour (self guided at my request). After my one hour tour,... More

The place has been built with 100% donations from people around the world. From the heavy crowds in Disney world/Universal area, this is a good place to meditate and relax.

My wife and I first visited this church and shrine for Mass over 20 years ago - when we were childless. Move on up the years and the two of us plus 3 kids are still attending Mass here on our visits to Orlando. Never tire of the beautiful church and surroundings and you are made most welcome by the... Ben and his dear Mrs Too attended the Saturday evening Mass at the basilica during a two week vacation in central and southern Florida. We heartily agree that the site is an iconic bastion of all Christianity. While Catholicism seems to render more supplication and homage to the mother of Christ than do sister communions, any Christian is likely to... More

Hi everyone, Claudette and I attended two Sunday services as well as Ash Wednesday services at this inspirational shrine. The church services were well attended, a full house on each occasion. There was people from all over the world gathered to pray and to listen to the word of the LORD. The church interior is an eye opening experience, with its... More

Very peaceful. You don't have to be Catholic to visit. The architecture, statutes & the grounds are wonderful. There are daily masses & confessions. Take a walk through the rosary garden, very tranquil. Nice gift shop.

We visited here during our vacation and it was well worth it. A very beautiful and tranquil place to spend some time. The stained glass is stunning. Our little boy loved seeing the squirrels in the garden. Great gift shop to pick up some gifts for family back home. So glad we visited.

If you come to Orlando and don't spend some time in the Basilica then you got less than half of Orlando. Visit their shop for extraordinary items and wonderful catholic stuff. Come a Sunday during Mass and you will be speechless with the amazing sermons. Do it, you deserve it.
