I went there with a group of eight. We were in the area and decided to stop in. At first, the first impression was great! But then as the ride was coming to an end, a gentleman or lack there of by the name of Hunter approached me being very aggressive and ignorant. He assumed I broke some rules and proceeded to humiliate me and threatened me. I was confused and asked why he was so aggressive and he told me to talk to his manager. I spoke to the manager Mark who was apologetic but quite frankly, I don’t think he was going to do anything to fix the situation. I have to say, Cindy was great and everyone else was ok but Hunter tainted my experience and vacation. I will not be going back and don’t recommend this place at all. Avoid at all cost. There are better spots in orlando that will treat you like a human being instead of an animal...

Dear Sir, I am sorry that you did not enjoy your experience at the Starflyer last night but as a local you would be very aware of how important safety is on all rides and attractions. We have investigated your complaint through our video surveillance system and talking to all of the Customer Service Staff and Managers working last night and you must understand that Cell phones are not permitted on to the Starflyer attraction for the safety of all guests on the ride, employees who have to work under the ride and all visitors watching the ride. There is signage in the ticket office, around the ride fence, at the queue line area, cartoon videos playing to warn everyone of the dangers of taking a cell phone on to the ride and the Ride Attendants telling guests that cell phones are not allowed. We also provide free lockers for any items which cannot go on to the ride. Unfortunately some people do try to hide their phones and take them on to the ride so all staff are trained to be observant and professional and to advise the guests of the danger they may cause when they try take a phone on to the ride. Again I apologize that you did not enjoy your experience but I would be happy to meet with you and show you the video we have to show you that it appears all staff were extremely professional when explaining the danger you caused by taking your phone on to the ride. Please ask for me directly so that I can show you the video and then I would be happy for you and your friends to ride again as our guests and give you a safe, enjoyable experience which we strive to do for all of our guests. My family members rode this over and over and loved it and didn't die, but I'm pretty sure I will die if I ride it -- either from a heart attack or from being flung into space or it collapsing and dropping me on my head from 450 ft in the sky. Same goes for you. Humans built it, humans repair it, humans run it. Trust me, just hang at the bar or the Häagen-Dazs. The biggest difference between this and the Icon is that if you pray loudly for nobody to die everybody will hear you and stare. At least in the Icon you're in your own quiet little pod.

That said, nobody came anywhere close to dying (except me, see my comments about heart attacks) and everybody had a blast (except me, see my comments about staying at the bar).

Was looking forward to riding the StarFlyer, headed there and paid $15 for the ride as the other half was shopping. The ride was empty so walked straight on. From the time the ride started to move to finishing was 3 minutes exactly. We were up the apparent 450ft spinning and down again within 180 seconds. The view is good but your up there for such a short period of time it is just not worth the money. I spoke with the apparent manager who did not seem to care too much about my complaint. Customer service in the US is not as good as they say. Do something different and save your $15 for something else...

Stuart, We have heard your feedback and take this all into consideration. Most people believe the time up on the StarFlyer is more than enough time, but we do truly appreciate your feedback on this matter. Again, we are sorry for your experience, and we take this all into consideration. Thank you.

A lot of fun. Not a fan of heights but if I didn't look down I was OK. Felt a bit dizzy at the top which wasn't great. Fantastic views of Orlando. Would do it again at a different time of the day just to see what it's like.

I tried to get my bestie to ride the slingshot, but she insisted no way! Instead, she agreed to ride the StarFlyer. Man, once we got up in the air it started speeding and we started screaming, lol! For $10 it’s a must do if you’re visiting O-Town!!!

While in Orlando, my daughter wanted to ride the Starflyer. She also was hesitant due to a personal issue. Mark notice her face and me speaking with her and asked if there was a challenge. Mark notice her body language and calmed her down by talking to her and assisting her on the ride.

She was so grateful and then went on again and again. Not only did Mark assist with my daughter, his whole team was just as awesome, friendly and caring.

Definitely need to try this ride and experience his staff. Hospitality goes a long way, I know as I work in the hospitality industry as well.

Way to go Mark and the StarFlyer crew from ticket sales to team assisting on the rides.

My kids range in ages from 8-22. Me 44 and my kids rode it. Everybody had a great time. A nice quick change of pace from the surrounding area. Would have loved to do it at night but didn’t have the time. The wind really whistle around you when your up that high and going that speed which adds to the excitement. My kids would like to do it again.

I wanted to do something out of the norm for my birthday.
This was great.
First, each seat is sanitized after each ride.
It really was a great feeling. Very peaceful and quiet up there.
I did not find it scary, but will suggest do not look at the center when coming down.
Watching the wheels turn gave the illusion like you were coming down super fast. But yours not.

Cant wait to do it again.
