    Frozen ride but long lines.
I remember when the Maelstrom was in Norway in Epcot. It was the most exciting ride in the World Showcase. Frozen Ever After has taken its place, and even though it is good ride, we only rode it once on our trip. It seems like a cute slow ride through the Frozen story, but there is actually a drop, and you can get wet! There seems to always be a long line, and we did not want to waste a Genie + slot for it, with so many other rides we preferred to use it on. Little kids will probably love this ride, unless they get scared by the small drop.

    One for Frozen fans
Our family of two adults, an 8 year old and a 6 year old visited Disney World for two weeks holiday in October. Whilst this ride is adapted from a previous ride, it's done very well and for Frozen fans, it's amazing. Lovely experience with a little bit of thrill and excitement. As we were staying at the Art of Animation resort we used the rope drop to cut the wait time. We also got to meet the characters straight after as the line was only 30 minutes. Enjoy!

Cute ride. People of all ages would enjoy this!
Cute ride! Kids and even people of all ages will enjoy this. Incredible effects and animatronics, boat ride is relaxing but you get a fun drop at one point. The lineup can get long, so time it out well or try to skip the line. The character singing Let It Go at the front of the line in the freezer made us laugh. Such a cool ride! It’s located in the Norway Pavilion (obviously) which is a really cool part of the World Showcase. Make sure you try some School Bread at the Kringla Bakery!

    Great Ride
Frozen Ever After is a boat ride attraction located in EPCOT’s Norway Pavilion. This attraction is based off the film Frozen, and you may get wet! Be aware that this attraction has a very long wait time; usually around an hour. The queue had a few interesting things, but otherwise there’s nothing else. The ride itself has screen-based animatronics, which were alright. The characters sung many songs from the movie, and can be catchy. There is a drop, but it’s mild. Great times always a must

    Worth Doing
This ride follows the exact same track as Maelstrom, the ride that used to be in Norway. I was a huge fan of the Maelstrom when I was a kid, it was my favorite thing in Epcot. The new ride features the Frozen characters (as animatronics), but as before, you sit in a boat. The scenery is nicely done. Families with young kids would want to know that a portion of the ride goes backward for a good minute down a gentle slope. This backwards part is not a drop and isn't anything wild. After that though, tthe boat goes forward again and there is an actual drop. I believe it's about 30 feet. The drop is over very fast and isn't scary (I'm afraid of heights, but the drop is over so fast I didn't have time to be scared), but it may frighten some kids. Overall it's a nice ride.

The ride was very well done, a gentle boat ride with all of the Frozen characters and the songs we all love. The wait for this ride was always long, I guess because it is quite new. The theming throughout the wait is awesome as you go through Okens Shop and see him looking out of the sauna window. The characters look amazing, I don't know how they have achieved this effect but it has come on a long way from the animatronics of the old rides.

If this is a must do, get try to get a fast pass. It was available when we booked our fast passes, but we passed it up. The kids were 7 and 8, didnt think they would care. Wrong! The sign said 110 minutes, it ended up being 2 hours and 10 minutes. (Side note, this was our longest wait the entire trip. Waited less for flight of passage) The line in inside and you snake around a cute village. The sauna section is the last room before you get on. The ride itself is cute. Slow moving boat ride, lots of chances to sing! Any fan of Frozen will love it! Bring snacks and play heads up or eye spy in line.

Having previously watched a recording of this ride on YouTube and dismissed it as mediocre, I would warn anyone against judging a Disney attraction by what they see online. I LOVED every second of my time on Frozen, and commend the people at Disney for creating such an incredible experience for fans of this cultural phenomenon. I only gave it four stars out of five because of the crazy-long wait times.

A friends told us that we had to go on the Frozen ride, so we did even though there was a long wait time. After we got off, we just looked at each other and agreed it wasn't a must do.
This ride is in Norway and used the Maelstrom tract. The scenes are from the movie Frozen, so if you are a big fan of Frozen, you will enjoy this ride. We actually enjoyed the "Frozen Sing-Along" at Hollywood Studios more.

Even after a number of years, the Frozen ride still enchants. With amazing staff to help you manage the lines, the wait is not too tiring. My wife (first time for her) ran back to do it a second time because she was so enchanted by the ride, and she was raised on classic Disneyland in California. Helpful hints: If you have small children, try to sit them to the side, as the bow (front) of the boat has a tall figurehead that can block the view of little ones. Also, you can have less of a wait time if go during the Epcot fireworks. Enjoy!

Personally my wife and I don’t understand when people say they prefer Maelstrom to this (or people who enjoyed it at all).
This ride is what Disney is all about! They utilized arguably their most popular franchise in an amazing way! Our daughter talks about this ride so much! My wife and I love it, and are always very impressed by the animatronics. Especially the Sven and Olaf ones. Lots of magical moments.
