We visited Disney Springs on the weekend before Christmas. Even with the holiday crowd, it was still a fun visit.

We expected crowds so we came early at around 10:30 a.m. Parking in the Lime or Orange garages can be a nightmare so we parked in the Strawberry open parking lot - we parked up front (lots of parking spots) and it was a quick walk through security. By the time we left at around 4 p.m., the signs said that the Lime and Orange garages were full and many cars were cruising the Strawberry lot for parking.

Disney Springs was hosting its traditional Christmas Tree Stroll. We picked up the tree map at City Works Eatery & Pour House that is located near the Strawberry lot entrance (other four locations include the LEGO Store and Joffrey Coffee). Do the tree stroll for fun and not for the cheap Christmas ornament prize. There are around a dozen Christmas trees located throughout Disney Springs, each with a theme such as Lion King and Star Wars.

Disney Springs was nicely decorated for the holidays. We were told that holiday decorations should be still up for at least a week after New Year's Day.

During peak holiday periods, it is best to make restaurant reservations for lunch as well as dinner. That morning, it was easy to make a reservation (Disney website) for lunch at Morimoto Asia (all time slots were open except dinner hours). By the time we left at around 1 p.m., there was a line - we overheard the host saying it was a least a 1/2 hour wait. Most restaurants did not appear to have lunch hour lines but we saw long lines at a few places like Rainforest Cafe, Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant and Chicken Guy.

We visited some stores that of course, were crowded with holiday shoppers. The LEGO Store had a line wrapped around the store! We shopped at the Marketplace Co-op that has some unique Disney-themed houseware and clothing and skipped the popular (and very crowded) World of Disney mega store.

Happy Holidays!

We went on Christmas Day. Arrived before 10am to find the place empty. Took nice photos ,walked around a bit before having breakfast at Earl of Sandwich. Once we came out of the restaurant the place was overcrowded and there were lineups to some stores and restaurants, impossible to take photos with nice Christmas decorations. So in general this place is a must see if you are visiting Disney but be prepared for crowds and high Uber rides out of it. We left 4pm and there was already a huge lineup to come through security and traffic coming in was crazy. We would go back next time we are in town.

The Disney Springs is a complex with shops with free entrance and parking, restaurants and the sole circus at the bottom whose entrance costs $80 dollars both adult and child.
It has great shops and exquisite restaurants , as well as bars that are pretty attractive .
In the photos (I took many) some took out of menus and values just to give yourself an idea of investment for a few hours there, also has the
Bus station right in front of the complex where companies and hotels do the transfer.
Enjoy and at the end of the tour go to the fountain in front of the “Lime garage” throw a coin and make an order.

We only found out about this place as it was recommended to us by an Uber Driver. It is free to enter and feels like a mini resort. We didn’t have a car so Uber was our friend - approx costs depending on time of day and traffic /how busy it is from International Drive ITrolley stop 15 to here is approx 12-19 dollars one way.
There are a lot of food places and I would recommend getting here early as it gets quite busy. They have pizza places, steak houses, seafood, coffee shops, snack places, bars etc

Shops here include under armour, Anthropologie, Uniqlo, Zara, Kate Spade, Lego shop, Marvel hero store, Star Wars store. Plenty family friendly stores. We spent a good few hours here on a sunny day.

Just remember if you are taking an Uber /Lyft you need to head back to the Uber/Lyft pick up and drop off point. They can’t go beyond that.

The place has the most ridiculous security for what is basically a shopping centre. We got stuck in a huge queue in the car park, there are no warning signs your bags are going to be very intrusively searched and it makes you want to get back in the car and leave rather than put up with it.

When you get in it is very busy and probably too small for the amount of people. We went to the Lego store, and were slightly disappointed to find the prices were so high.

In retrospect for all sorts of reasons not really worth seeing.

When I visited Disney Springs, I was amazed by its lively atmosphere and variety. It’s more than just a shopping center; it’s a blend of entertainment, dining, and unique stores. I enjoyed a great meal at one of the high-end restaurants and had fun exploring the boutiques. The lakeside walk and live music added to the experience, and the sunset views from the bridge were stunning. Disney Springs is a fantastic spot to unwind and have a great time outside the theme parks.

A Disney-fied shopping mall. There are some nice touches to look at, such as the lego statues and sometimes live shows . There are a wide variety of shops and eateries as well, most though ambitiously priced. Its an enjoyable wander and if you can resist the impulse to buy...free

Amazing I went to the M&M store and got a lot of candy and M&M merch. Tips, go early so you can find a parking space, If you're planning on going to the Lego store go there first because later it has huge crowds and lines, If you're planning on going to Rainforest Cafe, the Lego store or the Disney store park at Lime garage. I also love the Lego sculptures and I got a picture with each one I would share them on the review but they all include my face so I don't want to put them out on the internet. My favorite sculpture was Nessi The Lochness Monster.

This place is the free version of Disney, just without attractions and rides. This is a very lively place, and me and my family enjoyed it very much. The admission is like I said- free, you only need to pay for things like dining, shopping, and others. But we recommend bringing a lunch or small snacks as food there can be pricey for some! 🙂

Disney Springs is a cool area with lots to options to eat, shop, explore. Very crowded during most times does make it a bit uncomfortable and somewhat stressful. Prices range from high to ridiculous in most places, although you do have the occasional sale or lunch specials.
Avoid Ghiradellis ice cream unless you are willing to pay almost $100 dollars for five ice cream’s. That was three cones and two small sundae’s. Disney greed at its best, in a delicious form.
