On our recent Christmas holiday trip to Disney, we decided to spend a couple of hours at Blizzard Beach after spending most of the day at Animal Kingdom. We arrived around 3:00 and, unfortunately, it closed at 5:00 so our time there was limited. That being said, the kids loved the area devoted to them. The lazy river is outstanding;... More

The concept, layout, slides, tide pool and plantings -- all Disney quality. Lovely, fun and well done. But it's so confusing and there is no staff to help navigate the place. Finding towels ($2), lockers ($15), where to get in and out of lazy river, how to access slides -- which slides? which ages? wandered for food that had closed... More

My favorite was the lazy river. I couldn't get enough. So many fun water activities. There is something there for everyone, whether you are a thrill seeker or looking for something a bit calmer. There are lockers there for your convenience. I recommend wearing water shoes, they'll stay on for all the different rides and protect your feet. Life guards... More

My family and I have been to the top 5 waterparks in North America now according to Tripadvisor... This one is very good. It is hard to name a top one but I am ok with this being top. It has the scariest waterslide I have ever been on, the decor is cool too. Nice layout, family friendly, prices are... More

Depends on the weather and we were lucky on the day we decided to venture into Blizzard beach, it was a nice hot day. Pack light as you can utilise the lockers provided near the entrance for peace of mind and of course, kept dry. Lots of water activities to do or you can just float around the lazy river... More

I loved the slides in this park. There is one of the highest and steepest waterslide in the world (thats what they are saying). I am afraid of heights, but that was awesome. We went there early which was a good decision. It gets crowded really quick

A visit in Blizzard Beach is a fantastic experience! As soon as you leave the huge parking and enter the park, it feels like you're in a winterwonderland. The park is winter-themed (of course, it's Blizzard beach!) and they made a great job! Awesome slides and a large diversity makes the day perfect in this waterpark! We went there in... More

Despite being really busy, had a fantastic day at Blizzard Beach. I wasn't brave enough to do Summit Plummet but my family were and loved it. Said it was definitely worth the wait!

Visited the park two years ago and had an amazing time, which ran out before we could experience Summit Plummet, the parks whitest white-knuckle ride. After a couple of gentler rides we took the long, winding staircase up to the summit. Well worth it - a short but hair-raising ride that produces scream after happy scream! It's worth arriving just... More

Our visit in mid-January was very enjoyable. The park was so quiet that we hardly had to wait to ride any of the flumes etc. Lots of chairs and sun loungers available. 2 sizes of lockers for hire starting at $10. There are not a huge number of flumes and so, this park may come under a lot of pressure... More
