"Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, one of 2 Water Parks in Walt Disney World Resort, features one of the world's tallest and fastest free-falling waterslides, as well as slides and rides for the whole family—like a kid-sized, snow-castle fountain play area with scaled-down versions of the more thrilling attractions. It's easy to be cool while having fun in the sun at Disney's Blizzard Beach water park! While the park looks like a frosty ski resort—complete with a functioning Chair Lift, it's actually an action-packed water wonderland with exciting waterslides and attractions for the whole family.

There when it opened and last to leave - loved it !!

We had a great time with our two (7 and 5), basically because there is so much to do for them. Tike's Peak literally kept them amused for 2 or 3 hours alone. The 'tweener' slides... read more

Because the attraction is currently closed for renovations, we were with a group that was very disappointed. Look forward to a new and improved Blizzard Beach in the spring.

We had a great time with our two (7 and 5), basically because there is so much to do for them. Tike's Peak literally kept them amused for 2 or 3 hours alone. The 'tweener' slides are more varied and exciting than those at Typhoon Lagoon and the pools offer more variety for younger children (although the wave pool at... More

We love waterparks, and Blizzard Beach ranks among our favorites! There is something for everyone at this park! The lazy river is THE BEST, and my little ones have so much fun playing in the kids area! We love the ski shanty vibe, complete with ski lift to the top of the water slides! The park is always clean and... More

If you are with kids, Blizzard Beach is top notch. Consistent themed water park with a backstory, attention to detail, and a nice variety of rides/attractions. Teens will prefer the pure thrill water rides at Wet 'n Wild, but for young families it doesn't get better than Blizzard Beach (moreso than the older Typhoon Lagoon).

I visited with family, depending on how busy the park is you may struggle to find seating to leave your towels etc. We visited twice during our holiday, once at the weekend (very busy - no shady spots left) the other during the week, on a poor weather day (super quiet, large choice of areas to sit). Good range of... More

I love the theme of this water park...where else can you spend all day relaxing in the sun listening to reggae versions of Disney songs!? The lazy river is really fun and relaxing, much less crowded than Typhoon Lagoon, and the pumps are better so you move along slightly quicker. The wave pool is much smaller and more shallow than... Family fun all year round, except those few cold days in Orlando. My kids love this park, especially the wave pool.
