    Excellent water park
We came as a family of 6, two grandchildren aged 4 & 6. Hired two umbrellas an chairs, gorgeous white sand for kids to play on. The lazy river is huge, loved it, just slowly going round. Life guards are very attentive. The tidal pool is exactly that, be prepared to be dumped by 6ft waves. The park is spotless, and food very good. We throughly enjoyed our day here.

    Fun morning out
We spent a really fun three and half hours here towards the end of a two week holiday in Florida. It was very relaxing. We loved the wave pool! Remember to re apply your sun cream as it’s so easy to get burnt in the heat of the day. It’s a pity they don’t open earlier (like Volcano Bay) for people wishing to avoid the hottest part of the day. Disney know how to run a good theme park though. Great food options (including healthy ones), plenty of drinks stations, clean restrooms. $10 for a locker is a bit steep but what do you do?! Lazy river was nice before midday, then became so busy with people that it wasn’t so much fun as you just bump and bounce into one another. Overall, a nice trip out together as a family.

Just as I remember it, with updated Disney magic
A great place to spend an entire day. There are areas to relax in between rides although not much shade so take plenty of sunscreen with you. The drink and food outlets are good enough, the restrooms were clean, the staff were friendly and helpful and it was a wonderful place to spend the day. More family friendly than Volcano bay, but the rides might be a little tamer as a result. The entire park is a lovely place to be

    Good fun!
Visited as a family of 5 and had a great time. We arrived for park opening and I would encourage this. It meant we could quickly do so many of the flume rides before the hordes descend over the coming hours. Good rides, nice stuff, seemed well run overall.

Nice little water park for a fun chilled out day , but bad changing facilities
It's a brilliant chilled out waterpark . So if you want thrilling rides like Wet n Wild used to offer... You won't find them hear , however the rides are still really fun ! The wave machine is actually really good and it was quite challenging swimming to the back of the pool where these were on because they are huge waves ! We rented the posher chairs for the day and it was nice to relax a little and do some easy fun water rides after a whole day theme parks the day before . The ladies changing facilities let it down , they were filthy, no toilet paper, broken showers, and It just let the park down , yes I get it's a water park , but it's Disney , in Orlando Florida ? The standard in there seemed on par with visiting a dirty ran down place.. Not Disney . I did tell staff at the park about it but they just said oh interesting... Very sub par customer service for Disney ... If they fixed this issue I would come again.

    Half day visit
Our family of two adults, an 8 year old and a 6 year old visited here for a half day during our two weeks holiday in October. We stayed at the Art of Animation resort so took a bus to Disney Springs and changed to a bus for the water park - real easy. The park is welcoming with shower and locker facilities at the entrance. We picked a sun bed and chairs to the left of the entrance so we were close to the big wave pool. Arriving at around 10:30, there were some sun beds left but mostly taken. There's loads of chairs though. As we were resort guests, we were provided with towels from the shop on arrival. The wave pool is amazing and our kids enjoyed splashing on the waves. For the strongest waves, they put on the jackets to help them float which were provided around the park and in different sizes. The water slides were split into group rides (a number of you sharing a rubber ring) and individual ones. We didn't go on the most extreme ones but all the ones we went on were good fun. The lazy river was a big hit even if you have to wade around waiting for some floats to become available. There is a splash area for younger kids but we didn't go there as our kids are older now. We felt the park was safe with plenty of staff and lifeguards around. We didn't try the food outlets as we brought a packed lunch and were only there for a half day. A worthwhile visit to break up the holiday. Enjoy!

    Lovely water park
We had a lovely day here. We were lucky enough to get a family cabana, which was worth doing for a private space, it also came with unlimited soft drinks. It is a shame that Blizzard Beach was closed as we used to love visiting both Disney water parks, I hope that they can have both parks open at the same time soon. There are some really fun attractions here, the water coaster is great fun, as well as some raft rides and body slides. It is a shame that they got rid of the shark pool as I loved this experience! As much as I love this park, I have to say that Volcano Bay has the edge over this one!

All you need to know is that at Disney magic really can happen.

The next thing you need to know is the amazing cast members Amber and Jesus. They went above and beyond.

We are a family of 4 -6,11,39,42 with a SEN child.

We were waiting to enter the park at 0930am to get a good spot. The two cast members came over to us and asked our children if they wanted to go in first and open the park - OMG .

- private tour,
- meet the staff
- first to ride any ride of our choice before anyone else
- FREE private cabana
- and more
- nanes on the special guest board, Disney autographs

Our family is literally stunned , it was the best day we have ever had. EVER.

5* review !!!

Special event? This was one of the worst experiences at Disney we ever had. First, we have been going to Disney at least 1 a year since 1992. I fell in love with it immediately! It was the first trip my husband took me on before we were married. We took each niece and nephew here, brought our parents, had a family reunion and when we adopted our two young boys from state foster care, we brought them here. We’ve done 5 Not so scary Halloween parties, I’ve taken the Wine course doing the food and wine festival and have gone down for the flower show.

Now cut to the Christmas party. This was the biggest let down ever! It was Lame. One of the perks of going to an event was the crowd are smaller. Not in 2023. We could move. Then to our surprise, you needed to purchase the Genie and do Virtual to get in some rides. Again, never had to even get a fast pass before. So now I had to buy a special event ticket, the purchase a genie + and then wait for the ability to do virtual queue.

And worst part of the night, the cookies sucked. It was a total waste of money. We left after an hour of being there.

We went to after hours event at WDW in may for our anniversary. while Disney is perfect in every other way, I cant say i will be back and i have been going to WDW for over 50 years. The line jumpers, the people hiding their arms on the after hours event, the people that say they have family up ahead in line, stressed me out to make it almost not worth paying the money to do an after hour event. i love Disney but they have to figure out how to control the line jumping and monitor the arm bands. we were in long lines when it really shouldnt have been, we had 15 people bump into us to get further ahead in line and we saw people cover their arms and get on rides when they shouldnt have been allowed in the line or even in the park at that time.

When I purchased the tickets it didn’t indicate that it was the water park. We went to magic kingdom. Wasted 2 hours. What’s dress for water park.

Typhoon Lagoon was closed for ages and just reopened the week we were here which was fortunate for us. Equally fortunate, was that we chose to go on a brilliantly sunny day but cool - 50s when we arrived which meant this popular park was less than half full. This makes a huge difference to the experience, in that there were no lines for the slides virtually all day, and the wave pool (which is first class) wasn't crowded.

This is the better of the two Disney Water Parks in my view. The centrepiece is the wave pool which has a very large wave generator that operates on and off all day, with breaks to allow those not wishing to see a 10 foot wave bearing down on them enjoy a more relaxed experience. However, the "whoosh" that proceeds each wave is undeniably exciting and it is pretty intense when you are in the break zone of the wave but it's all great fun. Be aware of this though, if you get tumbled over since the bottom of the pool is a little rough and can scrape you up a bit if you are not careful.

There is a good selection of slides here although none as intense as Slush Gusher or Summit Plummet on offer at Blizzard Beach but most of the other slides are better I think. The water coaster "Crush and Gusher" is great fun and I was glad the park was empty because I imagine this is somewhat slow loading and I suspect lines will build a lot at busy times.

The body slides are great and there are several tube and raft slides too so there is something for everyone here. The body slides are pretty fast and humunga cowabunga is a rapid five story plunge but isn't super-intimidating.

I have to say that it isn't immediately obvious why the park was closed for so long for refurbushment. It is in good shape but seems very similar to when I went several years ago but it is a very nice place to be. There are plenty of sunbeds around and plenty of places to sit although, of course, this is easy to say when the park is half empty.

It's a great waterpark in my opinion, although I prefer less than super aggressive slides and if that is what you are seeking you may not find them here but it's all great fun. There are food options here as well as a number of bars and drink venues although there isn't a great variety of food on offer but it is, after all, a water park. Very much enjoyed our day here.

I wanted to rate this a 5 BUT the only reason it’s not is because they got rid of the snorkel attraction but didn’t replace it with anything else, they just covered it up and made it another lounging section with beach chairs….pretty lame if you ask me. Putting that aside though, this is a fantastic water park. Great slides, especially Crush n Gusher, world class wave pool, fun shipwreck theming, and DOKE WHIP! I’m not sure if they’re still selling the Hei Hei Cones anymore, but if they are you gotta try one! It’spretty much pineapple and raspberry dole whip. Be warned, if you’re not a strong swimmer, be careful in the wave pool…this one isn’t for the faint of hearts, it gets pretty intense, I once got a black eye in that pool as a kid.

This was an extra-ordinary experience. Me, Luigi, Dominique and Billy had a bundle of laughs the Disney spirit came into us!!! However, we did have a little accident in the lazy river - poor luigi ate some spicy chicken wings and it blew is wig off. billy had some trouble in the changing rooms as he got trapped in a locker whilst trying to free a moth but staff were exceptionally helpful and even brought out a crowbar. didn't see billy for the rest of the day, what a laugh! The surf pool was something else Dominique was swept off her feet any times and got fed up but a long sunbathing sesh made up for it. was rather disappointed when they wouldn't let me take my loaded dog and large coke on the slides with me, it has always been a dream of mine to guzzle down a glizzy whilst surfing some gnarly waves. the compromise they made was for me to eat my food and then ride the waves. bad news, i did not wait 20 minutes. lets just say, I took myself to brown town. I didn't make it as there was still a commotion over billy in the changing rooms which blocked my way to the bathroom. when I finally made it to the bathroom there wasn't much business left to do... Had a blast, would recommend and have already booked our holiday next year, although they did say we had to go online to do this and that "the life guards don't have the resources to book a holiday"
anyone who wishes to join us well be there on the 22nd of June 2024!!!
