Great Time!
Aug 2021
We went to SeaWorld toward the end of August and were pleasantly surprised to find the park relatively empty. All the rollercoasters had between 10-15 minute wait times. My wife is an avid coaster enthusiast and was able to ride them all, sometimes back to back. We like that the park has evolved over time and is part amusement park and part animal park. We booked two excursions, one was a behind the scenes with the Orca's, it was ok but not something I would do again. The second was amazing, it was a meet and greet with the penguins. We got to get up close and personal with a King Penguin who was so chill as everybody in the group took turns hugging him and getting pictures with him. I highly recommend the Penguin encounter, bring a sweatshirt though as the temperature in their enclosure is kept at 32 degrees. We spent two days at SeaWorld and had a blast. The only complaint I have is I wish SeaWorld enforced a dress code. On two occasions I noticed two ladies wearing thong outfits, not bathing suits but outfits, one was a jean outfit that was a thong. One of the ladies was sitting on the carousel with her bare butt. I think those types of outfits in a family park with little kids is inappropriate and in bad taste. My 8 year old had a blast in the Sesame Street area, I just wish all the rides were running the days we were there. It was hit or miss on which rides would be open, other than that it was a great time.

Worst Park In Orlando!! DIRTY AND A WASTE OF TIME
Aug 2021 • Couples
If you have time to waste walking in a circle complete with dirty rest rooms and dingy restaurants that smell "off". With minimal activities then this is your place.
Unfortunately I didnt read all 12 pages of the annual pass which had buried deep in there a clause stating if you cancel they will still take each payment. So my lawyer and my bank will be on this. The agents on the phone are in another country so they were no help.

This place should be ashamed at the condition the park is in. The only area that looks halfway safe is sesame street and even that is only a block or so in size so once you are done there nothing else is worth it.

If you want to spend the money for this just kick in the extra couple of dollars and go to a real park with cleanliness standards and actual rides! We figured it would be nice to have something to do right down the street but i can pay less for annual passes to Universal or even Disney again now so this off brand dirty park is useless.

Worst park in Orlando's hands down. Avoid it. And then avoid it again.

Waste of a day in Florida
Aug 2021 • Family
My kids and I went to Seaworld during a 14 day vacation in Orlando, having been twice to Orlando previously and had never visited Seaworld. First parking- a glorified, albeit huge, tar pad with no discernible signage, staff or shuttle service to get you to the front gate was more expensive than Disney or Universal with absolutely no amenities. If you are going to charge folks you better at least have some signage, greeters and a tram! Second there was no clear flow to the park, we had a paper map, but it felt like we just kept walking aimlessly. Rides were not well themed (Atlantis?! No story, just cheap dioramas and the whole ride looked like something from a carnival. The rollercoasters were fun but nothing exceptional) and the staff were completely clueless about the bag/locker reservation system. The fact that you have to store your stuff in a locker and there are no free lockers feels like such a moneygrab-plus the kiosk to buy a locker was constantly breaking down. Universal at least provides some free lockers!). My youngest, 9 was 54” tall but couldn’t get on all of the rides, sometimes they’d let him on and sometimes no (sometimes the same person would let him on and then he’d get right back in line and they’d turn him away.) i get the safety precaution and he was a good sport but it seemed so arbitrary. While my other kids rode the coasters we checked out the aquariums…. My local aquarium in CT (which is not known for beaches or aquariums) is more in-depth. There were no plaques telling you anything about the animals in the tanks and the few staff that were there had no clue what was in the tanks or any details about the animals (“oh I don’t know, I’m just here to monitor the crowd”. It was ridiculous. It’s Seaworld— if you can’t get the aquarium part right what’s your niche?!). Lastly, the rides and shows kept closing down for hours because of approaching this derstorms that never materialized… while we waited for anything to open up we looked at seeing any show… all shows are extra at $69/person making seeing any show for a family of four costing almost as much as it cost to get in the park… after 8 hours and only riding 2 coasters and seeing 3 lackluster aquariums we left and my kids all said,”This was a waste of a day. They just fleece you!” My kids could tell it was worthless!!! Anyway, We can say we went, but we will never go back.

Seaworld the good and bad
Sep 2021
Seaworld is great for a chance to see marine life. That part we enjoyed quite a bit. The animals seemed well cared for and healthy. They had several large species that I'd never seen and I found it interesting.

The cleanliness of the park leaves a LOT to be desired. There was trash here and there and in the food areas the bins were over flowing with garbage and food waste, and no one was coming to clean up the tables.

Some rides were also down or broken.

Staff we talked with were friendly.

I'd recommend going but they need to clean up their park and keep it clean especially in food areas.

Beware if you buy a season pass.
May 2021 • Family
Last year I signed up for a season pass for 1 year. Once my year was up I continued to get charged even more than the original season pass amount after my year was up. I called to inquire why and to get a refund and was told that I had to call in to cancel when my year was finished or it would continue to roll over. No where in the paper work did I see that nor did I receive any sort of email of this ridiculous policy to advise me that my pass would be automatically renewed. When I called customer service they told me that I cannot get a refund for the $137 they automatically took out of my account I basically got a too bad for you it’s in the contract (hidden somewhere which I never found). This is a time in my life that $137 is a lot of money for me and did not expect this at all but to Seaworld it is pennies. Would it have been so difficult for this massive company to refund the money? I can tell you that this type of hidden Renewal is very sneaky and dishonest. You would never see anything like this from Universals or Disney. I will never support this selfish money greed company again. As for the parks, my son and I enjoyed ourselves at Aquatica and somewhat at SeaWorld. The customer service of the employees at both parks needs a lot of work. Just hope the animals are taken much better care of than the way they care for the humans.

Enjoyable, Educational Family Experience with lots of Shows, Animal Sightings, & Rides
Sep 2021
I haven't been back to Sea World in over 15 years. We enjoyed the trip then, but the park has added so much more since then.

SHOWS: The shows are the highlight of the park. Arrive at least 30 minutes early for seats. It is amazing the see the tricks that the animals perform. The shows are educational with information on conservation and animal care. The trainers seem to really enjoy their jobs and love the animals they work with. The music adds to the high-energy environment. We loved watching the flips from the dolphin and orca shows.

The Sesame Street parade was so colorful and had great dancing and interaction. The characters come really close to the children and there are great opportunities for pictures when they park the floats for a dance party, instead of just moving along the entire time.

Club Sea Glow show was another experience we really enjoyed. This experience with dancing and a live DJ invites families to the floor to dance and get hyped for fireworks. During intervals, they clear the floor and allow children to sit at the edge to watch performers dance and perform acrobatics. My children who were exhausted from walking all day but caught a second wind from the high-energy show. The double dutch jump rope performance was a lot of fun.

RIDES: My children enjoyed the Infinity Falls raft ride the most. You will get soaked - so maybe plan ahead to switch to water shoes and bathing suits if you don't want to leave soggy. The wait was long at around 70 minutes. It would be a nice feature if Sea World is able to add wait times to their app like other theme parks. You don't know until you walk all the way there how long the wait will be.

There weren't as many rides for my youngest daughter who was under the 42" height limit. She enjoyed some offerings in the Sesame Place land though. Overall, there's a nice balance between thrill rides like coasters and kiddie fare.

MEAL PLAN: We opted for the Dine All Day plan. I think this would have been a better value if we had gotten at least three meals out of it. We planned to enjoy breakfast in the park, but most of the restaurants did not open until 11 am. We weren't sure where we could go, so we ended up skipping that meal. Since we only ended up eating lunch and dinner, it wasn't as good of a deal. Then the restaurants close earlier than park closing time, so we weren't able to eat later either. Although they advertise the plan as being able to eat every hour, it's difficult to do that when the restaurant wait times take a while. You don't want to spend your whole day missing the attractions because you're on line to get a snack. One plus I did enjoy about the meal plan was all the healthy menu options. There were items like grilled lean meats, vegetables, and rice, in addition to the fried fare. The portion sizes were pretty large and the food was tasty - especially the desserts.

UP CLOSE DOLPHIN TOUR: This was a special splurge but such an enjoyable experience. The tour guides were so friendly. The trainers provided a lot of interesting information about the dolphins and a ton of opportunities to pet and interact with the dolphins. They let you feed the dolphins with fish or jello cubes. Although the website states you cannot take pictures or video, they actually did allow pictures/video as long as you stood behind a certain point. There is also a staff photographer to take professional pictures from a better front vantage point, which are available for purchase.

OVERALL: It's a great family experience with lots of fun packed into the day and a chance to make memories. It's educational and had a large variety of sea animals to view including: dolphins, seals, sea lions, walruses, penguins, beluga whales, manatees, turtles, alligators, tropical fish, and sharks, just to name a few. The shows are amazing and well-choreographed and rehearsed. The key to getting the most out of your trip is to plan ahead on which attractions and show times you wish to visit, as well as checking menus and restaurant times in advance to plan meals. My only suggestion for improvement would be to include wait times in the Sea World app.

First time in a while
Aug 2021
We got to see the orca and dolphin shows plus most of the animal exhibits. Most rollercoasters were open but seemed like the indoor rides were not. W/o the rides, this can be a show day visit and be out by 4-5pm. The kids feed the stingrays and sharks. We ate at the shark restaurant and that was great food

Had to buy tickets twice
Jul 2021
We bought a package for our family for Discovery Cove and Sea World. The first day at Discovery Cove was amazing. The next day, we went to Sea World and they could not find our reservations from the barcode on our tags and could not find it by looking up verification numbers on our confirmation email. After an hour of them looking it up, they found 7 of the reservations but could not find the other two. They made us pay again for the other two and promised us that we would get a refund if we contacted the main office and gave them the proof we had of both purchases. We did contact the main office and they refused to give us a refund. They also promised to send it to a supervisor to look over and contact us back. It has been almost a month and we have had zero contact back from them. We have sent more emails and spent hours on the phone on hold. Not worth the money at all. Especially when you have to pay twice!

It has turned into a waste of money and time.
Aug 2021 • Family
I have been coming to SeaWorld for the past 28 years. We have seeing all changes throughout the years some good others not so good. This year of course, big changes with the whole COVID-19 protocols. They have a lot less staff and 75% of them are not friendly, you ask questions and you get the don't bother me body language and you are lucky if they even know the answer because you will get most of the time I don't know.
But we love animals and we wanted a family day so we said, lets go to SeaWorld before summer is over.
So this past Saturday we came with the family 16 of us. We bought the all day dining and we were ready for an amazing day.
First we went for breakfast. At the line first thing is you order your drink. They had two young ladies attending the drink area not communicating with customers holding the line, all they have to do is ask what you're drinking, grab the cup and fill it up, that's it. You would think is an easy task. So then you go to pay and they have only one cashier. So if you plan to eat with the all day dining you will wast a lot of time. It will be a lot faster just to grab a snack when going from show to show or rides. Then we wanted to go on the infinity ride to find out that is closed for maintenance.....on a Saturday??? The restaurant at the Infinity is half of the space because the board up half, the same with the lounge. When you go to the lounge you are lucky if you find a table available, cups or ice.
The rides were close most of the day but no thunder or lightning.
So when we finally got to do the line for Atlantis because they had just opened, well they closed, because eventhough the park last show is at 9PM most rides close at 7pm.
Same with restaurants. So for 2 hours you have a park that is not providing you anytging Throughout the day we were able to see 2 shows and get on 1 ride. We eat below grade food, and had mediocre service. The last show is amazing with the fireworks display. I just wondering with all the rescue animals and marine life, how the noise affects them?
We had seeing a decline on what we loved about SeaWorld throughout the years. For us and our family which is a lot more than 16 people, is time to do something different and better.
Here is a picture of a caprese panini, it had one tomato, spinach instead of basil and one small piece of mozzarella cheese. This is pretty what to expect with the quality of food.

Lots of fun. The dolphin show and the orca show were really neat. Rides to do, plenty of souvenir shops and restaurants.
