Interesting and unique place to visit for a one day get away. The guide was humorous and knowledgeable about the history of the creator of this exhibit. Worth the time to experience this.

For nearly sixty bucks we went to have a look at this, this is nearly three hours of my life I will never get back. The art reminds me of a college woodwork shop. The tour guide has a script littered with pointless kindergarten puns...More

Fun family visit. I would not recommend for children 5 and under. Very interesting artwork and history of the castle.

Before I went, I thought I was going to see a castle, but it's more like seeing the "art" that Howard Solomon created. It would have been fine to walk through on your own. But listening to the tour guide with the corny stories, was...More

If you enjoy creativity and corny-ness it is a place to go. It is Old Florida in a "Ripley's Believe It or Not" kind of way. We were laughing - groaning?- at terrible puns by the guide throughout the tour of the castle. Not for...More

We were looking for something to do, and somehow found out about Solomon's Castle. It was about a 90 minute drive from Tampa, and completely worth it. It's great to see one man's genius and passion, as well as a few collections from other like-minded...More

We've wanted to go to Solomon's Castle for a long time, and finally made it there. We were not disappointed. The quirky and prolifically creative Mr. Solomon passed away in August, but the tour guides still use his hilariously corny script along the tour. Tickets...More

I have been meaning to visit Solomon's Castle for years, but just now got around to it. About an hour and a half drive from our home in Venice along a maze of secondary roads. Luckily, the GPS was infallible. My grandsons, age 15 and...More

Solomon's Castle is a rare treasure in a place you wouldn't expect. Like the winding drive leading to a grand country estate, such is the reveal of the late Howard Solomon's majestic castle home. As you enter the gates and turn the corner, you'll swear...More
