I didn't rent a canoe or anything...just walked a couple of the trails but it was pleasant and shady. My daughter got a tick here though.

Wanted to pontoon on River but access was horrible. Way way to steep for trailer and vehicle and getting off walkway onto boat was also very great distance Tree blocked much of downriver access. Didn't use at all.

This is a beautiful park with a great museum. they also have a great pioneer like hands on museum. This a a great place to take the kids all the staff seemed to be very knowledge and friendly staff. A definite must see.

Yes, the park was ADA compliant when state of Florida purchased it...glass bottom boats have ramp and IF handicapped staff at kayak launch will assist. I work with Tampa Bay ye mystic crew... Pegleg Pete charity serving kids... More

You may rent single kayaks for $15 for the first hour, $20 for two hours, Full Day rental for $30. You do not need to be part of a tour or group.
