We went with friends on a windswept day with the surf crashing. The walk on the beach was most pleasant and the wind kept the bugs to a minimum.

This little known state park is quiet and beautiful. Nice walking paths, and kayak rentals. Kayak tours are available

What a beautiful place to kayak, explore and spend the day at amazing almost untouched beach. We like to go early and bring breakfast, we kayak out to a little island in the middle of no where and hang out with our dog and have...More

Given temperatures in the mid-eighties, John MacArthur State Park has an abundance of visitors today. These folks are enjoying water sports, hiking, and picnicking. There is a nominal entrance fee.

Very nice park. Offers trails and playground. You can rent kayak and go explore inner coastal water ways. Or walk on the boardwalk to the beach. We stoped by just in time for the 10 am nature walk, that was very informative.

We spent a very relaxing afternoon here. The location is a little bizarre as you know you are close to built up areas but you feel miles from anywhere. A great boardwalk (which has a little bus if you don’t want to walk) where we...More

We watched some short films about the Lake Worth Lagoon and other wildlife topics. We enjoyed exhibits in the Nature Center. Finally we walked across the long bridge over the Lagoon. It ended at the ocean where we watched the waves break on the sand....More

Ordinarily not enough surf unless you wait until Fall and some Nor'easters come crashing in. Fall and winter would be you best time and then it is catch as catch can.
