The maintenance of the place has gone down. The carpet needs a deep cleaning, the chairs need to be shampooed and the blankets are dingy. I mean i get it, the whole covid thing took a toll. But why dont they have a private cleaning company come and give it the cleaning it so desperately needs? Notably Understaffed, and everyone is over worked. Money not being reinvested to uphold the place. I overheard employees saying they worked more than 10 Hours no break no food, take care of your people and they will Take care of you. I witnessed blankets being thrown on the floor then picked up and rolled to be reused. Like come onnnnnnn. Absolutely ridiculous and super disappointed. Prior to this NMB theater opening we would drive to Boca and although the theater was a couple yrs old they maintained the place. My button to call the waiter wasn't working, leaving me to raise my hand for
20 minutes. Once my chair was broken, the other time it was sticky with residue.

Was good, now sucks. Go to cinabistro if u want a real dine in movie experience. Ipic has lost its touch. I removed a scathing review and BBB complaint at the behest of the GM there, only to find out they really have no idea how to run this place. Food came after my movie was over. Multiple confused servers unable to help and after 5 requests for a manger, no one came to help. I was over charged 300 dollars after being told my meal and movie was comped. Go anywhere else, it's bound to be better then this sticky, moldy joke of a theatre. Don't be fooled by the sweet talking runner of the show, it's BS and he knows it. Free tickets or a new meal doesn't fix the absurdly expensive experience and horrible anniversary i was dumb enpugh to host there, especially if u feel obligated to get up and leave half way through the movie, which by the way, I got to see zero of because I was so busy trying to find the manager in charge. MY guess it was Christian, not the supervisor who is super on point, but the rude and racist who has no place in customer service. He has his own personal complaint at the BBB, because he is scum, and would lie to anyone if it supported his goals. Clearly a worthless employee, steer clear and if you attend while HES working, good luck to you because If you have a problem with anything he will make it your fault and throw you out of the theater. I would laugh because it's so laughable, but the fact he's even allowed to work here makes me want to spit on their sidewalk.

These are my daughter's legs (she had both legs affected) being bitten by a bug during a movie (not a mosquito bite, since it's up on her leg and low season for mosquitos in Miami). This is disappointing and disgusting. The administration did very little to apologize of even fix the issue. I don't think they will fix the problem with that sanitation issue and the disgusting odor that comes from those nasty blankets. Absolutely a nightmare kind of experience. I have been given them many chances for a while but it seems the situation it's getting worse every day. I wouldn't recommend anybody to go to this place.

I have been driving all the way to Boca to go to IPic for years now about once a month sometimes twice. Yes, you read that right I traveled an hour each way to go to the Boca Ipic, It was that worth it! I was extremely happy when they said they were opening an ipic in Miami as I am a HUGE IPic fan! I usually bring 3 or 4 friends also and on average spend $150-$250 per visit as I usually buy everyone's tickets early to ensure good seats.
Here's the break down of the new North Miami Beach location (I will update my review if things ever change, and I hope sincerely that they do)
Pros: comfy seats that recline.
You get the blanket and pillow that are fresh and clean.
Open late (great for us locals, as Miami is a late night place)
Free popcorn, always puts a smile on my face when the guy comes around. Makes me feel like the second mortgage I just took out to come here just might have been worth it.
The food is tasty, although the portions could be a tad bigger though, on 2 visits I only got 3 chicken pieces, although on another trip I got 5 which was great, I'm usually left a little hungry from their portions.
Cons:
First, whoever did the hiring here should be fired or required to take a class given by the Boca Ipic... or even just made to attend one single movie there, the difference is drastically night and day shockingly different. The staff at the Boca location was high end and swanky, creating the great feeling that you are a VIP going to a high end event almost like a club, but a classy club. The staff at the NMB location gives you the feeling that you are shopping at Kmart and that they all hate their jobs and have zero class. Super low end staff, the complete opposite of the Boca location staff. Oh how I miss the Boca location now :(
I have gone 10xs so far to this new theater and 10 times I ordered the buttermilk fried chicken with a side of honey mustard. 10 out of all 10 times I never got my honey mustard. The past 5 times I even said, hey for 5 times the side of honey mustard never came can you please please please make sure it actually comes, it's always "oh yes no problem I'll make sure it comes, or even yes sir I will even bring it myself"..... well NOT ONCE has it ever come. It usually takes about 20 mins after pushing the service button to find the guy and 10 mins extra to finally get the sauce. So for 10 movies I've eaten cold chicken or chicken with no HM. Not acceptable at this price point.
Several of the theater screens have some gunk on them center left. Theater 7 for sure and I think 3 and 4 have it also. Both in the same place and every time the screen is white or lit with light colors there it is a huge 5 ft gunk thing on the screen. I don't know if its "burn in" or what but they just opened and should have high end equipment that doesn't ruin the film, It really takes away from the experience, my eyes fix on it every time. It should have been fixed already. I get that a new screen costs money, but these screens are toast and you're not the dollar theater, has management never seen one of their own movies here? What happened to the days when people had passion for what they do.
Lastly, when you walk in nobody can ever get the automated machine to ever work, I've been told by staff there you have to select that you are NOT a member for it to work, if you select that you are it just flat out can't find you. So that's just another thing this location needs to fix.
So to sum up my review. IPic is an amazing new movie theater chain that really got the experience right, the Boca location has created a lot of IPic fans, but this North Miami Beach location has been my worst IPic experience to date and simply doesn't match up to the IPic standard in any way. I've been told that an Ipic is opening up in downtown Miami city center. I hope this is true so I can stop going to the NMB location. For now I am going to wait a few months and hope NMB IPic gets their stuff together, if I cant wait, then I will be driving the hour north to Boca. I'll update this again if I ever go to the NMB location.

Asked for ADA price was told did not exist....so asked what was 16.00 rate on line....told for handicapped.... so asked do you want my handicapped sticker ..... then was charged 16.00.
For the price one thinks that a waiter will ask to take your order. I finally found button. Paid and change never returned 7.00. On 13.00 bill that is not a tip. Asked for manager and his response server way too busy. ...... not to pick up bill but to return change...hmmm. No toilet paper... No hand towels.
Nope not impressed!

I honestly do not know where to start but I want to keep this short. My food was cold. My drink literally increased 100% in price - and wasn't worth it. Had I known the price increased I would've sent it back. We had to ask for a bag to put our carryout food in- but none was available. And the service was everything but top notch. I truly hope this was just a very, very bad night for iPic in North Miami. I haven't been there in awhile and ONLY was there tonight because it was my youngest offspring birthday and that's where she wanted to go. Had a known the service and food was going to be like this I would've taken her somewhere else. Had I known the drinks had literally increased by 100% [I kid you not. It went from $14 - 16 to $32 AFTER my discount] I would've sent that water down drink back. IPic I am truly, truly disappointed with you. To make matters worse when I asked the guy who was behind the bar playing on his phone for the manager he stated he didn't know where one was and then continued back to his phone. What a horrible night that due to the cost and not the QUALITY that's usually attached to it, I will NEVER forget.
Extremely Disappointed,

This place is a total joke. You immediately pay 13.00 for a "service" fee to sit in the seats where you will get served food...that's about $60.00 upfront for a couples movie night. Then you arrive 30 minutes prior and there are no servers to greet you or even take your order. You have to push a button (and it took a while for us to figure that out). The menu differs from the Tuck Room slightly so if you were hoping for a favourite from there you may not get it. I should mention, the service at the Tuck Room is also deplorable. We were some of the first people to make an order and we ended up having to ask for our food once the movie had started and almost everyone else had their food. I had to get up and go to the take-out area because we had no cutlery! I am enraged they can charge $13.00 a ticket for such "service". Buy the normal seats and grab your food to sit down if you want to come here, you'll get it much quicker. We did that in the past with no issues. The blanket and pillow smelled like they were never washed and their bathrooms were DISGUSTING.
We LOVE CineBistros and this place is simply not comparable in any way. Do yourself a favour and drive a little way for date night to get your moneys worth. The food and drinks at CineBistro are of much better quality and the service impeccable. At iPic, you share a table with your date and cannot really eat properly...not that it matters because the food is terrible. Chicken skewers were undercooked chewy and the desserts had some weird funk to them. At CineBistro, the servers get all the food and cheques out before the movie begins so no interruptions. At iPic they are serving during the movie and even give you your cheque to sign in the middle of the movie - how distracting! Save your money, stay away!

Amazing movie, nice place but unfortunately the food was disgusting. we had strong stomach colic. Poor variety of beers and cocktails. rude staff. if you want to see a movie ok but the volume was not high and the air conditioning was too low.I definitely do not recommend it for dinner

Visited this past weekend to watch Daddy's Home 2- front desk reps. were very professional and friendly-check in was good. After that things went down hill- first three different employees directed us to the wrong theater. When we got to our theater #7 - opened the door and the carpet was messy - got to our seats, took up the menu- that was dirty (with glass circles and drink residue) the arms of our chairs were also dirty- Got out the sanitizer wipes from my bag - wiped off the menu & arms. We were not greeted by anyone or assisted to our seats even though we saw several employees in a corner conversing. Our server was MIA- had to press the button to order our drinks- again to order our food- again to bring napkins and condiments. She was friendly but just not available even thought the theater was not packed. I've visited other facilities like this such as Cinebistro in Sarasota- very classy, clean and professional. The Movie was Great! Experience was poor. Won't be visiting here again.

There is not a dress code for the bistro type movie theater, but I do not recommend you to dress way too casual. The venue is very fancy and people are usually well dress for the occasion, to impress.
