Beautiful Beach

Beautiful Beach but they do have some VERY loud Drumming in the evenings once a week! Nice wide beach, white sand, and you can walk for miles.

This beach is located at the South end of Casey Key. Good beach for walking and shell picking, watching sunsets or just chilling out. Plenty of parking in several locations stretching all the way to the jetty, which is also an interesting place to visit especially if you like pelicans. Wednesdays and Saturdays before sunset is the time for the... More

Watched a nice sunset. Parking was free but took a bit to find a spot. Glad parking was further away from main lot as we had a larger area of beach to ourselves!

Nokomis Beach should be one of the wonders off the world. A spectacular setting on the Gulf of Mexico. Whether it is swimming in the ocean, walking the many miles of sandy shore or collecting shells, Nokomis Beach is a must visit.

Nice beach and good alternative to Siesta key. Less crowds, sand not as fine, though, as siesta key. Adequate parking, bar on beach.

Very, very nice beach. Note it is toward the south end of Casey key so don't take any further north causeway or you'll just have to creep through traffic. Unless you like looking at all the mansions that are on that road. If you take Albea Road from Highway 41 you will be right at one I have the beaches... More

We loved attending the "drum circle". We were vacationing on Casey Key and were fortunate enough to be in attendance for the drum circle on Nokomis Beach. At least a dozen drummers surrounded by all ages, dancing until the sun hits the water on the Gulf. Very unique experience. Be sure to get there early, the parking is very limited.... More

We loved looking for shells and just relaxing and enjoying the sun. There's a new outside restaurant that has breakfast and lunch. Beer and ice cream. Very clean beach.

My husband and I visited this beach on our vacation. We wanted pictures of the sunsets, as we live on east side of state. We were told about the Drum Circle on the beach at sunset every Wednesday and Saturday evenings that occurs. That was a plus! The beach sand is different from east side of state. Sand is fine...
