This is a nice, sandy beach with rest facilities and tennis courts. Across the street is a playground area and a small lagoon where manatees and dolphins can sometimes be seen.

this is just a small section of beach dedicated to MAry McLeod Bethune. If you're staying on the beach you already have beach access.

WE parked at the carpark and walked along the beach toward Apollo beach - don't really know however where one ends and the other begins - the beaches here as all great as far as I am concerned.

After a day at the Marine Science Center we wanted to see if we could find some Manatees in the wild, but didn't really want to drop $100 for the wife, 6 year old #nerdgirl and I to do a boat excursion. We saw some reviews of this park and since it's about two miles from our time share we... More

This is a favorite place for tourists and locals. Many surfers use the beach here. There are usually many people using the pavillions on weekends, and parking is usually ample.

Beautiful beach! We loved it! We were there on a Sunday, and it wasn't too crowded. Free parking, boardwalk, lifeguard, soft sand, plenty of seashells, beautiful waves. The restrooms and showers are across from the parking lot. Facilities are clean. Pretty much what you would expect for a central Florida east coast beach. Will def go back!

We love this park at Bethune Beach. Parking is free and you can visit the ocean and there is also a park across the street by the river.

Local cove where you can see Manatee's swimming. New playground equipment since our visit last year. Nice little park for the family.
