Well worth the short walk. There were beautiful views and their importance to Native American people is something I really enjoyed learning about. Take the time to see them, you will not be disappointed!!

Not much of a shell mound anymore. More of a vine mound. You can see shell in some spots but not very good. Definitely need vine removal. Boardwalks are nice, but don't recommend seeing Turtle mound. The beach is awesome though.

It was a lovely place full of history and beauty. We walked around the well built walk ways, although some had sustained damage. We were trying to see manatees but we did nit here.

This is a really beautiful, natural park. It's enormous. You will need your car. Lots of trails to walk. A good information center. Be sure to visit the little lake full of manatee!
