Not recommended. Went there to possibly swim and sit in the sun and we could do neither. If you want to go there for a glass of wine and the sunset it might be worth it. Paid $2.00 to park and left 15 minutes later.

I've been going to this beach for 30 years through all of the ups and downs. It's fine for a couple of hours of hanging out and reading a book, but not a major beach by any means. The red neck families are often yelling at their kids which can become quite annoying. It is also very shallow so when... More

Lovely little parked tucked away off route 19. Clean beach, playground. Walking nature trails as well. At present bathrooms are under renovation, portable toilets are available. Also vendor selling hotdogs, drinks, etc.

Wife had to work so I spent a couple hours at this nice little beach. Granted it's not big but it's kept clean including the bathrooms. There's also a vendor there for dogs and a little more.

This small, clean beach is a nice place to spend an afternoon or have a picnic. There is a playground, pavilion, and bathrooms (although they were under construction the last time we went). $2 for parking. The beach has a lot of shallow water, perfect for little kids.

We visited family in New Port Richey over the Christmas break and were looking for something fun to do with the kids. We almost didn't come to this park because other reviewers said there wasn't much there. I'm not sure exactly what they were looking for but we had an awesome time watching the many types of birds, playing in... More

Very small park. Has a really nice boarkwalk that ends in a water and mangrove view. The swimming area is not very appealing but it does have a good play area for children. For 2.00 you get parking access here and to all other Pasco County parks for the day.

This is a small, park full of possibilities. If you can't drive elsewhere, this would work. First note: meter machine is in direct sunlight so you can't read screen. I bought TWO parking tickets because I didn't hear the ticket drop---at the bottom and it did NOT tell me my ticket had been dispersed---newbies beware. Broken glass on beach (I... More

Good thing there were not very many visitors as there are few parking spaces at this location. Your $2 must be used to maintain the restrooms, and possibly the playground area. I found broken glass in several locations just off the shoreline. Tranquility is available if you are willing to stroll the coastline just off shore. Thrilled that the mangroves... More
