The security personnel is extremely unprofessional and management supports it. Walked in with a group of 15: all 25+ with their parents. One of the parents made a joke about having to be IDed and the security guard was extremely rude to one of our...More

My wife and I spent a week in Neptune Beach recently. We went to Pete's Bar every afternoon. Thanks to Jesse, the bar staff and all those friendly patrons at the bar. They made our week a memorable one. Great bar! Larry and Darlene

This place is a hang out for young people who don't care about smoking. There were quite a few drunk people and the place smelled so bad that we went in and left shortly after. Would not recommend it!

this is just a good local dive bar. Friendly service, cold beer, pool and friendly folks. This place has been there for years and is a favorite iconic landmark with the locals

I have been to Petes Bar before, and experienced icy cold beer and great service. This visit no love came our way. Ordered 3 beers, 2.75 each..gave Jesse a 10 spot, and he automatically kept our change. Ordered 2 beers, he did it again. We...More

Petes is the oldest bar in North Florida which adds to its ambiance. They still have quarter pool tables. As for the drinks they are cheap and strong. The bartenders are excellent as well. A must see for a new comer to Neptune Beach.

LOL I have been going to Pete's since by teens... and it's still exactly the same. But wow... it's so smoky! Not sued to that anymore! But still a great blast from the past.

Great, great granddad opened the bar in 1933. We take pride in keeping Pete's as authentic as possible. Try us again at Thanksgiving where you can enjoy an ice cold beer outside among our 4000+ family members. Pete

Iconic local bar. Your experience will vary with your expectations. If you are looking for something low-brow then this is it. Inexpensive drinks, pool tables, dark, and smokey, and generally friendly.More

Hmmm. How about "Authentic" to best describe Pete's. *Tattooed bikers who are self made millionaires... *Pool playing Corporate Bank Presidents & their diamond adorned wives... *Rock stars (Mick Jaggar & Joe Cocker (God rest)... *brick masons, plumbers and waitresses... *NY Times best selling authors (Patti...More

Decent service. Pool. Decent drinks. They don't expect credit cards, though. So be warned. They have an ATM but I try to stay away from those fees.

If they did, I wouldn't eat it! Smoke filled room, watered down drinks and a rough bunch of servers is all you get.
