Don't bother wasting your time, this place has closed down, the telephone recorded message says it is open - it is NOT open. It is deserted, with no details of why iit is closed, or if it might re-open again. Commercial signs outside the front stating buildings are up for sale/lease.

Kids loved it and the berries were wonderful. Just be sure to take a good look at the building on this site. They didn't have the red and white signs to follow like the ones that were on SR64 and a food truck was blocking their main sign so we almost missed it.

Is a great place for very fresh vegetables. Fun to see how hydroponics work. Would recommend Hydro-Taste to all.

We live locally and because we have two kids under 4, we are always looking for small day trips- this place is perfect! The new business owners are super friendly as well. We went to the back to pick strawberries, which my 3 year old loved.. it's nice not to get dirty or have to bend over, since they use... More

Evidently, the owner had issues with Manatee County Property Appraiser, possibly forcing him to close down, which explains why the Owner, Chester Bullock is now running for the Property Appraiser's seat. We loved this place and are sadden by its closing. It was a unique addition to the residential/farm area.

This was a really nice business. Unfortunately it has closed. Wonderful friendly and helpful staff! We lived only 1/2 mile down the road and we miss it!

Visit date is the date I wrote the review. We had been here last approx. 1.5 years ago. We really enjoyed going here and introducing this farm to friends. It's a fun way to spend a few hours. So nice to get fresh fruits and vegetables as well as a live short tour before picking. Very informative, although the promise... More

We had a craving for fresh strawberries and a Saturday afternoon off from work so we decided to go back out to Hydro-Taste, we had been there years before. The facility has been updated with a quaint marketplace with fresh produce and locally made products. The help was friendly and cheerful -- the gentleman gave us tips for cutting berries... More
