Trimble Park has a wonderful lakeshore boardwalk to observe the unique birds of this beautiful habitat as well as the scenic sunsets! The boardwalk goes over the water about 25 feet from shoreline of bald cypress, then winds back into the woods on a sandy trail under a canopy of cabbage palms.

This is just a short distance from downtown Mount Dora and is one of the bike rides on the annual Mount Dora Bike festival (11 miles, Pink Triangle).

This is a beautiful southern park. The live oaks and cypress trees are impressive. It has a large children's playground and a boardwalk into the water. Turn off your phones and enjoy the sounds of nature.

This is a scenic and peaceful place to walk. It has a boardwalk that goes out around Lake Dora and then you can walk on the nature trail. There are very old cypress trees to see as well as other old trees. Although you are near the water and walking among trees and palm plants we never got bit by... More

I hesitate writing this review because I'm selfish and want to keep this great park a secret. But....it's a wonderful place. It's a very small campground of 15 sites but one with the best site designs I've ever seen in a county park or most other parks. The picnic table is metal (no warped boards) and on concrete with a... Located in Mount Dora, FL., this park, offers a lot to enjoy. There are several pavilions with wooden tables and benches plus charcoal barbecue grills for your cooking enjoyment. Most of the park is shaded thanks to a large number of Oak trees. There's also a playground for children to play. The staff is very friendly and the bathrooms are... More

We walked about 1 1/2 miles from the cinnamon inn (best b&b ever!) to the park! It was worth it. Beautiful bird watching and lakeside trails!

We visited Mount Dora on the recommendation of a friend. Will definitely go back. Trimble Park has something for everyone. Good play areas for kids, picnic areas, fishing, BBQs and nature.
