This area is definitely a must for anyone who loves nature. We saw wild horses, bison, countless alligator and birds of many species. You can spend hours there just watching the wildlife interactions and taking photos. Definitely worth the trip.

We stayed in site 2 over Easter weekend. This is a lovely campsite and the facilities are well laid out and clean. The hiking in the Preserve is fab! We saw wild horses, alligators and deer close up and the bison herd in the distance....More

We walked the main trail into the park and out to the observation platform. The first section is paved roadway and fairly narrow so you would have to watch for walkers. Then there is a narrow gateway onto the boardwalk area... More
