For my 1st time in Miami Beach, the Art Deco district which was 5 min from our hotel was a must. Nice. Many buildings under restoration.
Enjoy this neighborhood which is full of beautifully preserved hotels and other buildings from the Art Deco area. However, you won’t learn much just walking around on your own; we highly recommend stopping at the Art Deco Welcome Center for information about tours. They aren’t...More
The art deco area has some very interesting buildings that are lit up in various colors at night. The architecture is especially appealing. However, a good part of South Beach/Art Deco area has become a bit seedy. Some of the buildings are obviously run down,...More
Miami Beach is heaven for Art Deco lovers! It is heart warming to see all these lovely buildings in great condition. I enjoyed this district very much; this is certainly the best part of Miami Beach.

There’s so much happening on street level but I encourage you to take the time to look upwards at the great Art Deco styling of the buildings in the area providing a retro charm.
It is wonderful to see that the houses are more beautiful as time goes by. It is a very fun tour to do and you can do it at your own pace.
