The spirit seems to be here. Lots of restaurants bars and clubs.
You can walk this street but it seems it’s all day but especially an night crowded. To do a cruise ride with the car could be fun even for the kids.

Don't be fooled by the $100 per night refundable deposit. You won't get it back. They have a $66.12 resort fee that will be deducted. But they never mentioned a resort fee. It's technically not a resort since everything closes at 6pm. (Both pool and restaurant). The beach close at 10pm. And nothing is included. Buffet breakfast is $45 per person. Don't stay here. Only reason I gave it a one start is because it won't let you put anything lower!

My earliest memory of Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, Florida, was in the early 1950s when my vacationing parents took a drive through the area--at midnight. I was amazed at what I saw...street performers and musicians entertaining an endless stream of tourists and locals in a lively atmosphere that you would expect to see at noon, not midnight. Collins Avenue hasn't changed much since then. It remains a major thoroughfare in South Florida, a road lined by palm trees, fashionable homes, trendy restaurants and nightclubs and five-star hotels running parallel and one block west to the Atlantic Ocean in Miami Beach, Florida. It also runs through the glitzy towns of Surfside and Sunny Isles Beach to the north, which didn't exist at the time of my last visit. Named for John S. Collins, a developer who completed Miami's first bridge in 1913, the Collins Bridge that connects Miami Beach to the mainland across Biscayne Bay. Today, Collins Avenue is home to many historic Art Deco hotels, including the Morris Lapidus-designed Fontainebleau and Eden Roc. Between 41st and 62nd streets, Collins Avenue is known as "Millionaires Row," a reference to Indian Creek, a private island adjacent to the boulevard that is occupied by a few billionaires, including Latin singer Julio Iglesias and Ivana Trump and Jared Kushner. For a change of pace, the annual Miami International Boat Show occurs on Collins Avenue.

Great location but nothing compared to the service! The front desk staff was on top of it my entire stay there. There was even a wedding party that Mother Nature wanted to have her way with and the AC Hotel staff was all over it.
Maria was incredible, efficient and effective at coordinating many request and needs all while making suggestions to make it better. In a world or declining customer service, AC Marriott on Collins Ave is completely different. Superstars of customer service and I will definitely be back!

This is the main drag through Miami Beach and so can get congested with traffic. Some good examples of Art Deco architecture. You don’t need to make a special trip to visit it as you can’t avoid it!
