This is a great area for walking, exercising, or having a picnic. There is a great playground and grass area as well as the ocean and boardwalk views. There is a pier that juts out along the breakaway and the beach. You definitely want to see this if you want to experience some of the beauty of South Beach. There... More

We had a morning walk to South Point from our hotel(Metropolitan by Como) on 24th street. There are seats to recover on after the walk on a hot day and the views are great.

If your looking to feel like a local check out south point. The views are stunning. Across from Government Cut looking south is Fisher island home of the infamous. Only way in is by ferry. To each is there own. Back to the point if wishing to catch some surf this section of the beach holds the best swell. Timing... More

Although this beach is a little further south, the clear(er) waters and clean beach make it worth it! It wasn't as crowded as south beach.

Really nice park at southern tip of MB! HINT: For those walkers/joggers - take the boardwalk from any location north all the way down to South Pointe! Great views and really gives a perspective on where things are along South -Mid Beach!

This is a really nice place to walk. You can start somewhere below 5th and Ocean and walk along a beach trail until you come to South Pointe then you can walk all the way round South Beach back to 5th. Lots of sun, water and a nice park as you walk the circuit. Also a kids playground in South... More

Must see kind of a place. Come walking from the Ocean drive or by bike. Scenery is beautiful, ride is safe, it is a place to come and contemplate...and watch people. Really really nice.
