Jungle Island has a great outreach program where the animals are brought to the schools; I highly recommend this program for ALL ages, but particularly elementary aged-kids. This interactive, hands-on program gives the kids the opportunity to learn about the animals in a fun, nurturing...More

Jungle Island provides a lot of hands on activities which is great! As soon as you walk in you are able to pet and take photos with either a baby alligator or vibrant macaws. Which I thought was wonderful since you are able to photograph...More

About $50 each to enter. Not worth that much, not worth half that much. The city zoo beats it hands down. Yes, little kids will enjoy it. They will get to interact with some animals, if (big 'if') they can get through all the other...More

It's not the biggest zoo in the area but it has a nice feel. Staff are friendly and animals appear well cared for. Some of our party did the Sloth experience - a little expensive for what it actually is.

Had booked on to the sloth experience which was enjoyed by those taking part. The park was a surprise as I didn't think it would be a big as it was. Lots of animals to see and there is a farm petting part.

I visited Jungle Island with my wife and three year old son for his birthday. I wouldn't say this place is amazing – but it's not terrible either. For the steep price of $40 per person, I had high expectations. But it's just okay. First,...More
