The spirited Cuban neighborhood of Miami where the sights, sounds and smells are intoxicating. Be sure to sample a traditional Cuban meal or grab a quick sandwich cubano and some empanadas at any of the walk up counters.

Although Miami Cubans today have little to do with Cuban Cubans, visiting this little bit of Cuban flavor in the heart of Miami is always a great experience. Walking blocks full of restaurants, cafes and shops. You can feel a bit out of Miami and talk to people who will gladly make you feel at home. Actually 8th Street is... More

Cute shops and lots of restaurants on 8th street in Little Havana. A little touristy but still ok. I had the most fabulous fish tacos at the Ball & Chain Bar & Grill. Awesome original artwork at La Isla is very nice. I bought one of his coffee cups and we had a nice chat about Cuba. And of course... More

We stopped here during our tour of Miami. We spent a couple of hours here and had lunch, toured the cigar factory, and strolled the streets. It's very small and the sidewalks can get crowded if there are a lot of tours here at the same time. Unique little town if you are in Miami and you are looking to... More

We loved walking in this neighbourhood. Home to many Cuban immigrants it is named after the capital and the largest city in Cuba. We enjoyed popping into the little shops from the cigar shops to the bar with the largest rum collection. All fun! We did not spend as much time as we would have liked and we were in... More

We stopped here whilst on the hop on hop off bus trip and we really enjoyed being here. We walked around for several hours and ended up stopping and having lunch here.

The key thing here, which is what people warned us, is that Little Havana is little. Just a five block stretch of 8th street. If you are aware of that, and don't expect too much, the sites and food are good. Just don't expect too much and you will have a good time.

A brief 30-45 minute stop was made in Little Havana. The first stop was to the cigar store where a huge variety of cigars is available. The staff can explain where they come from and how the tobacco is grown. The area is famous for its ornamental chickens located on every corner and painted in bright colors. There wasn't time... Spent the best part of a day in the district & thoroughly enjoyed it despite warnings of 'take care' in Little Havana. Many interesting sights and things to see.
