My family went there while on vacation to Satellite Beach. You basically drive around in this park on several trails through the wetlands looking for wildlife. If you are a casual observer, you can do it easily in an hour or less. If you're an avid bird watcher or photographer, maybe give yourself some more time. We saw many species... More

Over the course of a two week stay in Florida we visited many nature centers from one coast to the other. By far this was the most spectacular. There were many species of birds, alligators and we even had two deer cross our path. In addition there are experienced birders everywhere eager to point out different species. One couple even... We enjoy coming here with our friends and family from out of state. One thing I like about it, is, your can drive your car through the entire area, stop and get out of the car when you see wildlife. Every visit we have seen more then 1 alligator. Lots of birds too for bird watchers. Even a nice lookout... More

One of the best free activities to do in the area. Incredible views of wildlife in an immersive environment. I would highly recommend checking this place out.

Having the wetlands in Brevard County is a real treat. Spend a few hours bird watching and see a few gators at no cost. Take a walk around the wetlands. You may want to ride your bike. There is a road the wetlands if you're in a hurry. Either way a good pair of binoculars will come in handy.

I live nearby and take my dog to the wetlands frequently during the cooler weather. Since it's wide open, cooler days are better for walking. I have seen gators, snakes, today, an otter, and many birds. I enjoy walking. If you walk the entire perimeter, it's about 2.25 miles, but you can take shorter walks as well. It's peaceful and...
