Went to the Zoo for a nice afternoon visit. The crowds were non-existent and the animals were mostly out since it was cooler weather. The zoo was very clean and had a couple areas where you can interact directly with the animals. If you like birds you have to go and feed them nectar. They are very gentle and will sit on your arm and eat. You can also walk near the kangaroos and other animals without any barriers. The volunteer staff are very friendly and informative. We took the kayak tous as well which was a nice behind the scenes tour with yet another informative volunteer.
We had a meal at the food court, which was tasty and not too expensive. The zoo is all privately funded, so you don't mind paying a bit more for a good cause. They had a wide variety of animals and the areas were well kept and clean. Definitely a good outing for the day.

Wife and I have been to more than 30 zoos across America. This place ranks in our top three favorites. Just the right size for us seniors. Place is full of staff and volunteers. Great place to take photos. Places to rest, eat, drink, reflect. Parking was easy. Prices were very nice for seniors.

Very nicely done zoo. The zoo itself is not very large but they did a very nice job making it feel big and giving the animals large, natural spaces. The animals all seem happy and the zoo workers are all very friendly, eager to answer questions and give insight about the animals. Definitely a must visit when in the area. Great place for kids! Big parking lot with 4 EV free parking spots. There is a cafe to get food in the zoo and a nice gift shop with cute stuffed animals!

This is an exceptional zoo! At first we thought it was a bit pricey but it was worth every penny! There are very knowledgeable volunteers throughout the zoo with interesting information about the animals. The zoo is very well maintained (not stinky) and the animals are well cared for - we saw a snake getting acupuncture for arthritis! If you are in the area put this on your list!

Great experience with family. Animals look great and healthy. Staff are friendly.
It may be a small zoo, but it will give you a great experience.

There were what seemed like thousands of bees everywhere and my 9 month old daughter got stung on her head. I killed close to 20 of them while were eating.
These things must be killed off completely if we are to ever come back

What a great zoo! Small but wonderful zoo. The giraffe feeding was a hit with the teenagers. Many different kinds of animals for a small zoo. Additionally our family did the zip line adventure. This was the first time we’ve done something like this, and certainly won’t be the last. It was fantastic! The staff was really helpful when our youngest member was scared or got stuck.

It have been to many zoos from Massachusetts to California and this is one of the best. The animals are close and accessible where safety permits. The staff is friendly and helpful. Each section is well organized and educational. If you are looking for a well maintained zoo with an intimate setting this is the one.

What a lovely little zoo! It’s probably one of the nicest I’ve ever seen. The landscaping and habitat for the animals is so pretty, lush, and green. Staff was friendly and there was always someone around for questions. It’s well laid out. The animals seem well cared for, not stressed, and really easy to view. My 8 year old granddaughter loved it. Highly recommend!
