Met friends there that were camping. Beautiful place to camp fishnet layout. Inexpensive weekend to have fun with family or friends.

Get there fairly earl on a weekend or have the place nearly to yourselves on weekdays! Do try south of the bridge for more private beaches. If camping prepare for no seeums- they will eat you alive if not careful. All good there for sure!

As an avid fisherman I visit this place often. I also make it a point to bring the family when they visit from the North, the Grandkids love it. Fish or jump in, this is a don't miss spot. Do avoid the jetty though.

We were there before the hurricane, so don't know. I'd call the park or look at their website to make sure. Good luck fishing!
