I came here last year with my husband and the Blue Hole spring was beautiful. It was so beautiful that when I brought my grandson this year to see the caverns I couldn't wait to show him the Blue Hole spring. When we pulled up...More

Wow! Maybe it was the 100F temp... But that clean, clear 68F water felt so good. It took us a while to go in all the way. But once we did we wanted to stay. It was crowded, and it was hard to find an...More

Great place to spend a hot afternoon. I noticed a lot of reviews mention the "cool" water. Make no mistake about it, the water is cold, not cool. Kids love it. As for me, I ease into it. Then, I never think about much again....More

Beautiful, cool, clear water. There are lots of activities that we did not get a chance to do. The swimming was delightful with slide and diving board. Lifeguards on duty. The only draw back were the gnats. They did not bite but would swarm around...More

Beautiful spring. Great facilities. So refreshing in the Florida heat. There's a concession stand, bathrooms with indoor changing rooms, outdoor showers, volleyball court, kids playground, large and small pavilions, diving boards, and decks. There are tube & canoe rentals. Designated shallow area. Admission is fairly...More

Took a family trip here at the end of May on opening weekend. We were not disappointed. There are some nature trails for walking, the water is GORGEOUS. The water's really cold because it's an underground spring but it was wonderful for a hot day....More

This is a wonderful but busy place during the summer. Go canoeing at off times like October to enjoy all the natural beauty without the noise!

The water is very cold, but easy to get used to once in. The park is maintained in pristine condition and the water very clear. There is also diving near by. I have been here several times with my family down through the years and...More

The water is cold, but beautifully clear. It is an incredible sight to see the huge amounts of water that bubble up from the spring. Worth a visit even if you are too timid to brave the cold!

As a native of the JaCo we try to visit Blue Springs as much as possible during the summer. The kid's love the cold water. The adults not so much. However, we really enjoy renting kayaks and paddling the Shangri La and other caves. You...More

No. The park area around the spring is not that big and they do not allow any watercraft in the park. The park has a barrier foot bridge between the park and the river to keep boats out, but they do have docks on the river... More
