Florida Caverns State Park is well cared for the Park Rangers. Now is a great time to visit because its not the busy time of year for visitors. The caverns are a little cooler so take a sweater. The formations in the cavers are breathtaking.

The caverns are a must-see, and we had a great tour guide (Shelby). The Blue Hole swimming spot is lovely even if you don't go swimming. Geology comes alive. Florida has more than beaches.

This was our first time here and it was amazing. Shelby was our tour guide and she was awesome!! We were here with our girl scout troupe and she answered every one of their questions, even the silliest! We will definitely come back again!!

Beautiful area. Educational. The park staff was very friendly and helpful. Could not do cavern tour due to disabilities, but video tour was good. Nice displays. The trails looked great. Camping and swimming available.

Are there any sites close to water or a playground? How about recommended sites for campers with 5 and 9 year old boys? Thanks!

Giarc53 is correct. They encourage bringing your own food and offer picnic tables and seating areas. Gift shop has only snacks and drinks.
