At the very end of Marco beach - it's where the shelling is best and a good place for sunsets and surf fishing.

If you don't have a room on the beach then this is a good place to watch the sunset. It is also a good place to fish off of the rocks or watch the dolphins and manatees swim by in the morning

This is a nice wide white sandy beach. It is clean, wasn't very crowded in November, and is a nice place to watch the sunset.

This beach seems to be popular with sunbathers and fishermen but not much for shelling. It was also very clear that there were areas where the public isn't allowed which didn't make for a hospitable environment.

Go in October, and experience a beautiful, white sand beach filled with shells almost to yourself. I couldn't believe how beautiful the sunsets were and how few people were there to enjoy them. We also saw dolphins there almost every evening.

Well, Marco is just fabulous. We have been going there since 1985. Every season is great. It depends if you like hotter or cooler weather. We love May to November since there are fewer people and you can get into any... More

If you are using Public Access , probably back to car and nearest gas station. I doubt you can walk into a nearby hotel restroom.
