We loved this area that we came here on several nights we visited the area. I would think that the shop owners should do something regarding the pay to park, but I would visit again in a minute.

What an atmosphere. The bars, fish restaurants and harbour. Not to mention the fabulous shopping. We needed to buy an extra suitcase to get everything home! Spend a day here- you will love it.

The Pass is a small area complete with a small boardwalk that fits the bill wonderfully for what it is. Plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars. This place is a middle-class vacation haven at the beach. It is not sophisticated nor exclusive but it can...More

Do not miss this place. A lot and I mean a lot of interesting and fun shops. Good food I recommend Delosa's Pizza and Boardwalk grill They also have a lot of water activities such as parasailing and boat cruises.

Local shops have all the memorabilia you could want. Restaurants are great and we even ride jet skis out of this area. We visit every year and enjoy the ice cream shops and boardwalk. Can even see dolphins from the boardwalk.

So many unique shops and the employees are so friendly. I truly enjoy John's Pass every time we come here. We always find just the perfect souvenirs for our grandchildren. If you're staying anywhere near Madeira Beach, don't miss this opportunity!

Lots of stuff packed into a small area. We stayed in treasure island and wish we'd found this sooner. Great dolphin watching from the boardwalk in the mornings.

Lots of quaint shops as well as franchise restaurants. There is something for everyone here! There is a parking garage, so no issues there.

Around what time could we expect to see some fishing boats unload their catch of the day?

There are only 3 or 4 returning fishing boats and rarely do they have big catches, mainly snapper, grouper and Spanish mackerel. Usually they get back in around 5pm depending on the tide.

This question has been asked over a year ago and I'm asking for some more recent answers & comments. Thanks. Are small on-leash dogs allowed on the boardwalk?

We have a large dog so we never bring him on the boardwalk. Technically dogs are not allowed anywhere in John's Pass per Madeira Beach ordinances. John's Pass restrictions do allow small dogs on the main boardwalk as long as... More
