Have lived in Florida off and on since 1955. First visit even though my late Sister-in-Law volunteered here as a Master Gardener for more than 12 years. Winter took its toll on the tropical fruit section as it did on many of our own ornamental...More

We wanted to explore a section of the Pinellas Trail and found the Florida Botanical Gardens a short ride from the trail. What an unexpected pleasure. You park your bike and wander through many different gardens. Although we were not at the height of bloom...More

I rarely miss a botanical garden if nearby and the Florida Botanical Gardens was well worth the hour drive from where we were staying in Tampa. The butterfly garden and the wedding garden were my favorites, but there was so much to see. They have...More

Office-tours and there are restroom...More

Although you don't always see alot of flowering vegetation, this is a geat place to visit any time of year. At Christmas, the holiday lights are lovely. During the winter, nice to walk around on a sunny but cool day. Some lovely displays, setting etc.

A interesting place to visit. Well laid out with several areas set off from each other. Beautiful at Christmas time with all the lights.

Nicely maintained garden walks with plenty of interpretive sighns. So sorry the frue tree area was hurt by recent freeze. Very helpful interpreter on grounds. Historic village is really amazing with lots to see and learn about local non-native history.

This is a nice, calm park in which to meander around. We were there in January, so, unfortunately, nothing was in bloom. It's probably spectacular in the warmer months. Even so, we saw ducks, and even a few butterflies, believe it or not. Next door...More
