So sad. I take visitors often. This was equal to the quality of anything in DC. Just too out of the way. The founder recently died. RIP Armed Forces Museum.

Hidden away from sight, this was a great museum for Military items. A huge warehouse surrounded by lots of outdoor items to view. Unfortunately, being "off the beat'in path, it did not survive financially. We shall miss it, and miss all the folks who created and maintained it.

This place folded up. Was a nice museum. But was in a horrible location. Don't know if they relocated.

It is unbelievable that this museum wasn't picked up by one of its sister cities. What a great loss to our area. Anyone who ever toured it can attest to what a wonderful and informative museum it was. Unfortunately, its tucked away location was its doom. Shame on our city leaders for not giving this the attention it deserved.

By now the Museum has closed and what a shame. I hope someone has stepped up to buy it and preserve a part of history that future generations will know nothing about.

It's closed now, my fault for writing a review after the fact. It's very sad, please open again. I been to this museum 6-7 times, mostly with my grandson and one craft beer evening. My grandsons favorite place and he is a ocean kid. The exhibits are done in detail and in class. It's a must see, it's much bigger... More

A wonderful well-to-do man created the collection over the years then opened this great place. He died and his children did not want to carry his dream on so the Armed Forces Museum in Largo Florida has closed its doors on January 29, 2017. They are in the process of getting ready to auction off the various items there. The... More

This is a truly wonderful museum of 20th Century Wars memorabilia. I do not mean War is wonderful, for it is not, but how they have set this up is so well done and such a tribute to our fighting men and women. You start with all different types of uniforms and stories of who wore them, then move on... More

My hubby and I were married here at the end of November. This museum is beyond fantastic! The immersive exhibits, variety of artifacts, various activities, and staff combined make this one of the best museums I have ever visited. Please visit before January 29, 2017 as others have said, this wonderful museum will be closing. We highly recommend making reservations... More
